Liquid Getaway Humpback Whale Encounter

This was an encounter during a whale watching trip with Liquid Getaway Mooloolaba Ocean Adventures on the Sunshine Coast in October 2011. We spotted the whales breaching from 2 nautical miles away, when we got to them they turned and came straight to the boat. They stayed with us for over an hour circling and breaching and playing around. Awesome experience.

Travelling Australia, Sunshine Coast Minyon Falls, Noosa Everglades, Rainbow Beach!

Sunshine Coast Video!! Its a bit all over the place but we visited Mooloolaba from around the 7th of May and explored the waterfall- Minyon falls! Then we drove up to Noosa and the town before our Fraser Island trip (in a different video), and then did the Rainbow beach kayak tour and saw dolphins, turtles and a sting ray! Was an amazing experience and I’m loving this trip so much!! Can’t believe week two is already over! Hope you enjoy! Let me know your thoughts!

Liquid Getaway Humpback whale encounter

This is one of the many close encounters with a humpback whale we've had this season. This whale was so close I could have stepped off the boat onto its back. Awesome.
