Correction: Instead of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Oakland Bay Bridge in San Francisco was built from the same company like the Ponte 25 de Abril. But the bridge Ponte 25 de Abril really looks like the Golden Gate Bridge :)

Lisbon Nightlife pt2, Fado & Portuguese Food | Europe Travel Vlog [LISBOA, PORTUGAL]
Check out how you can become a digital nomad and travel the world:
==================================================
The beautiful city of Lisbon or Lisboa is actually one of my favourite places on my Europe travels. Never did I think that I would become so attached to the people, culture and especially the nightlife.
On this video, we went for Portuguese food at one of my friend's houses in the middle of Lisbon city. There we also met a Cape Verde musician who showed us the art of Fado, the Portuguese sentimental music genre, and he performed a private show over a glass of local wine.
The following morning we hopped on a boat ride through the Targus river where we get to see a few more castles and the statue of National Sanctuary of Christ.
We were lucky enough to have met a travel guide from who shown us around the Lisbon nightclubs and filled us in on what its all about.

Trip to Portugal Day 6
Day six includes a trip to Sintra where the parishes of the town are dotted by royal retreats, estates, castles and buildings from the 8th-9th century, in addition to many buildings completed between the 15th and 19th century. In 1493, Christopher Columbus sailing for the Spanish crown, was blown off course by gale force winds and fearing for the survival of his ship, spotted the rock of Sintra. Despite the awkwardness of seeking safe harbor in Portugal, Columbus had no choice under the circumstances and sailed from there into the port of Lisbon.
On the way back from Sintra, a stop at the westernmost point of Europe (Cabo da Roca) was a delightful experience filled with a beautiful sea breeze.
The day ends with dinner at the Sacramento restaurant, where traditional cuisine is reborn to the present day.
Portugal vacations are pleasant surprises offering the opportunity for relaxation along some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe and some of its richest history. Set to the western edge of Europe, Portugal is noted for its seafood cuisine, particularly in Lisbon.

Best Neighborhoods In Lisbon to stay in:
1. Baixa-Chiado
This is the heart, the center of Lisbon located near the Praça do Comércio, and surrounded by attractions, cafes and restaurants, public squares, and plenty of transportation options. One of the benefits of staying at a hotel in Baixa-Chiado is that you can walk to many places and you’ll be right in the center of Lisbon action.
2. Santo Antonio
The area of town opens up more with more space and it’s home to Avenida da Liberdade which is a huge tree lined boulevard known for shopping and designer brands.
3. Barrio Alto
Barrio Alto is a beautiful hilly district of Lisbon where you’ll find narrow lanes and plenty of local culture. There are many restaurants, cafes, and bars, tucked within Barrio Alto, and it’s also known for being one of the centers of Lisbon nightlife.
4. Alfama
Being the oldest neighborhood in Lisbon, Alfama has a beautiful charm to it and is home to a few of Lisbon’s most famed attractions like the Lisbon Cathedral.

Day Trip to Sintra and Cascais - Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon
GREEN AND BLUE, MOUNTAINS AND SEA...
The perfect day trip from early spring through to late autumn.
Sintra is all you’ve read and more. It take less than an hour from Lisbon to travel back to the age of imperial Portugal and Europe’s original epicenter of Romantic architecture. Portuguese aristocrats have followed their Royals here since the 14th century. And it’s not hard to see why as you drive the region’s winding roads. Float away on the dreamy UNESCO World Heritage imagery revealed before you: sprawling baroque palaces amidst box hedges and fountains; towered and turreted summer residences shaded by magnificent formal gardens; hilltop princess-palaces silhouetted pink, yellow and red against a turquoise sky….
While Cascais, on the Coast, perhaps one of Lisbon’s most underrated enclaves, melds the laidback lifestyle of the American East Coast with European refinement and sophistication. It’s leisurely and casual yet uniquely chic – the elegant choice for well-dressed families seeking a more high-end beach retreat. Try Santini Gelati Fini – favourite of King Juan Carlos 1 of Spain. (
Finally, don’t miss Cape Roca—’where the land ends and the sea begins’ according to famous Portuguese poet Luís de Camões—marks Europe’s most westerly point. Head to the lighthouse for the best views. Don’t forget to collect your commemorative certificate: not everyone gets this close to the edge…

5 Top-Rated Day Trips from Lisbon, Portugal | Europe Day Tours Guide
5 Top-Rated Day Trips from Lisbon, Europe.
Beyond Lisbon, lies a wealth of day trip options. Some of the most rewarding tourist destinations can be reached within an hour of the city center, either by car, bus, or train. Along the coast, you'll find traditional fishing villages where the way of life has changed little over the centuries as well as some of the region's liveliest resorts fringed with beaches of golden sand. Away from the crowds are unspoiled nature reserves, rivers, and estuaries teeming with colorful flora and fauna; havens of wildlife that can be explored on foot or by boat. Whether heading north or south from Portugal's capital, there's plenty to see and do on a day trip from Lisbon, Portugal.
