EXPLORING PORTUGAL: My train ride from LISBON TO SINTRA ????
SUBSCRIBE: - Train ride from Lisbon to Sintra, Portugal. The train to Sintra departs Lisbon from the Rossio train station, which is located in central Lisbon. The train station is connected to the green metro line and is served by the Rossio metro station. Rossio train station is conveniently located in the heart of the city and is within walking distance of the Baixa district, the main tourist center of Lisbon.
The Lisbon to Sintra train is a regional service therefore seats cannot be pre-booked. The trains are made up of 6-9 carriages but due to the popularity of Sintra and the commuter towns the train serves certain service may be standing room only. Also there can be long queues for train tickets at the middle of the day. It is always advisable to start a trip to Sintra early in the day.

???????? Lisbon Tram Ride| Tram 28 | Portugal Tamil Vlog
Hello all
In this video I will be taking you all together with me inside Alfama District showing some things out there and explaining everything in Tamil language.
Alfama District:
The Alfama is the oldest district of Lisbon, spreading on the slope between the São Jorge Castle and the Tejo river. Its name comes from the Arabic Al-hamma, meaning hot fountains or baths.
For visitors, Alfama is a joy to visit and is often best explored by simply getting lost within the labyrinth of alleys and side streets. Around every corner or steep climb, is a delightful plaza, a trendy café, an independent shop or panoramic viewpoint. If you are new to Lisbon, I recommend that Alfama should be the first district that you begin your discovery of the city.
Tram 28:
The number 28 Lisbon tram connects Martim Moniz with Campo Ourique, and passes through the popular tourist districts of Graca, Alfama, Baixa and Estrela. For visitors, this is the classic Lisbon tram journey, riding in a quaint yellow tram as it screeches and rattles through the narrow streets of the city.
The delightful Remodelado trams date from the 1930s, and in any other city they would be housed in a museum, but in Lisbon, they are an integral part of the public transport network. These historic trams are still in use, as the 28 route is completely unsuitable for modern trams, due to its numerous tight turns and steep gradients.
A single ticket purchased onboard the tram costs €3.00. A much better option is to purchase the 24-hour public transport ticket, which includes the metro and all tram and bus services. This ticket costs €6.40 but annoyingly can only be purchased from the metro stations.
- Ride the tram early (or late) in the day, to avoid the crowds.
- Board at Martim Moniz (or Campo Ourique) as there is a better chance of getting a seat.
- Always beware of pickpockets and they target just Tourists as they are busy with making pictures
Pastel de Nata:
Pastel de nata also known as Portuguese custard tart, is a Portuguese egg tart pastry dusted with cinnamon.

Classic Tram 28 Ride in Lisbon Portugal
Join our classic Tram 28 Ride in Lisbon Portugal and see some popular tourist districts of Graca, Alfama, Baixa and Estrela as we complete the entire route following the narrow streets.
It gets very crowded during the day so better rake the ride early morning or late in the day. Hang on tight as the brakes are very tight you might fall! Keep an eye on some iconic buildings like the Assembleia da Republica in Sao Bento, cathedrals, and the Portas do Sol.
Also come with us as we tour the Praça do Comércio at the city center after the Tram 28 Ride
We only have a few hours of stay in Lisbon, thanks God this touristic Tram 28 is giving services throughout the day till evening.
Thank you and please share some love!
Lovelots,
Cris Amacna
