After using a sustained first-over drive to win his elimination earlier in the day, Southwind Ozzi and driver Brian Sears came back with nearly a carbon copy effort to capture the $384,000 Little Brown Jug final for 3-year-old male pacers Thursday (Sept. 19) at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.

Wiggle It Jiggleit is 2015 Harness Horse of the Year! (#908 - March 20, 2016 )
Wiggle It Jiggleit, was voted the three year old male pacer of the year, the Pacer of the Year and the overall United States Harness Horse of the Year.
In 2015, he won his first race of the season in January and continued visiting victory lane through November.
When the year ended he had 22 wins in 26 starts and almost $2.2 million in earnings which made him the richest Standardbred in all of North America for 2015.
Owned by George Teague Jr of Harrington, Delaware, the pacing phenom won the Meadowlands Pace, Battle of the Brandywine, Hempt Memorial, Milstein Memorial and two huge event here in the First State - Hap Hansen Progress Pace, and Matron Stakes.
The most memorable victory of Wiggle It Jiggleit’s season was the Little Brown Jug in Ohio when George’s 24-year-old son, regular driver Montrell Teague, guided him in a spectacular finish.
In addition, Wiggle It Jiggleit, trained by Clyde Francis and groomed by Mike Taylor, paced the fastest mile ever by a 3-year-old on a half-mile track when he won in 1:49 at Harrington Raceway.
Not only was Wiggle It Jiggleit and Team Teague honored at the Delaware Standardbred Owners Association’s annual dinner with a Special Recognition Award for this gigantic year and bringing Delaware to the forefront of harness racing...
But, at the prestigious Dan Patch Awards in Ft Lauderdale, Florida a couple weeks ago a huge group of Wiggle It Jiggleit fans and friends came to the Sunshine State to celebrate the accomplishments of the talented, gutsy and super fast pacer!
And that’s not all...
The Delaware legislature also paid tribute to the 2015 Harness Horse of the Year with two separate ceremonies.
First, in the Senate chambers Senator Gary Simpson talked about Wiggle It Jiggleit’s accomplishments and everyone watched the fabulous Little Brown Jug performance and got the connections got a well deserved huge round of applause and a wonderful tribute from Senator Simpson and Senator Patti Blevins.
Then, Team Teague went over to the House of Representatives where Representative Dan Short and Representative Bobby Outten presented the First State horseman with another wonderful keepsake recognizing the spectacular athlete.
Representative Dave Wilson spoke about how important harness racing is to the Delaware economy and George Teague expressed his gratitude for this huge honor
And then Governor Markell greeted George & Montrell Teague, Clyde Francis, Mike Taylor and company in his office to chat about the Delaware horse who is a household name in the world of harness racing!
One more big congratulations goes out to Wiggle It Jiggleit and all his connections for a sensational 2015 season.
