Jenni and I explore Littleton, New Hampshire - home of the Word's Longest Candy Counter certified by the Guinness Book of World Records. An amazing thing happened at Shilling Beer Co. as Jenni, a self-certified beer hater, finds a local craft brew that she loved! A big bag of candy and bellies full of beer were not enough for us so we treated ourselves to homemade ice cream as well. Our trip into Littleton was cut short by a thunderstorm. We wanted to go on some scenic hikes close to the town but Mother Nature said NO!

USA: POSSIBLE RONALD REAGAN COIN TO BE MINTED BY US TREASURY
English/Nat
Ronald Reagan could soon be immortalised on American coins.
He's one of the top choices in a survey of coin collectors being considered by the US Mint.
No need to adjust your vision. That is former president Ronald Reagan on the face of a quarter.
How about a Harry Truman penny?
Or maybe a coin bearing the likeness of Martin Luther King, Junior.
Don't start double checking your pocket change. These are only artists renditions of coins.
They are the result of a survey conducted by the Littleton Coin Company of New Hampshire.
Two-thousand coin collectors and dealers across the country were asked whom they would like to see on a United States coin.
Reagan, Truman and Martin Luther King Junior topped the survey, which was commissioned to gauge the public's interest in changing some of America's coin designs.
SOUNDBITE:
Since 1945, there have been more than 2,000 postage stamp designs issued by the United States, but in those 50 years there have been only eight new coin designs put into circulation.
SUPER CAPTION:David Sundman, Littleton President
The survey also offered names like Jimmy Carter, Neil Armstrong and even Elvis Presley.
The King of Rock and Roll had been honoured several years ago with a postage stamp. But the public did not have a chance to vote on Presley's likeness for the coin.
SOUNDBITE:
Unlike the Postal Service, we did not ask the collectors if they want a young Elvis or an older Elvis portrait
SUPER CAPTION:David Sundman, Littleton President
But is the American public ready to cash in on these possible new changes
Of all three of the coins, the survey winner seems to receive the most response.
The coin featuring former president Ronald Reagan would most certainly have everyone talking about their pocket change.
SOUNDBITE:
Not my particular preference politically
SUPER CAPTION:Vox pop 1
SOUNDBITE:
Yeah, well I would prefer that it was a President, I think that if it's a coin it should be a President, hasn't it always been a President?
SUPER CAPTION:Vox pop 2
SOUNDBITE:
I'd never use that coin, in principle (laughing)
SUPER CAPTION:Vox pop 3
SOUNDBITE:
I'd collect them instead, I like the Reagan coin
SUPER CAPTION:Vox pop 4
SOUNDBITE:
The coin doesn't look that attractive to me, and I think you would better find it in an old museum, behind glass or something
SUPER CAPTION:Vox pop 5
SOUNDBITE:
Everybody knows about him, everybody can identify with something about Martin, so that's a good choice
SUPER CAPTION:Vox pop 6
The decision on whether to put Reagan on a coin, or the other top survey choices, now rests with the U-S Mint.
