Eslite could end Songshan dispute by buying rights to shopping complex, hotel
A solution to the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park is in the works. Eslite Corp. has proposed to purchase rights to the Taipei park’s shopping complex and hotel from a subsidiary of Fubon Land Development. Eslite would then increase the amount of royalties paid to the city government. Eslite’s proposal could lead to the end of one BOT dispute in Taipei. Rather than rent the shopping complex and hotel that it runs from Fubon subsidiary Taipei New Horizon, Eslite would obtain usage rights directly from the city. Mercy WuEslite Deputy ChairwomanLast year, revenues in the Songshan park shopping complex, movie theater, performance area and exhibition area were NT$1.2 billion. Five-thousandths of this amount would be NT$6 million.For the hotel, Eslite said it would base its royalty calculation on an occupancy rate of at least 60 percent. It hopes to quickly engage in talks with Fubon Land Development and the city government.Mercy WuEslite Deputy ChairwomanThere appears to be a new dawn in the three-way Songshan Cultural and Creative Park cooperation. We hope to work hard in overcoming all challenges. We also believe that separating these businesses and raising royalties collected by the city government will turn this into a winning situation for all three sides.Taipei New Horizon hopes for details to be worked out within the next two weeks. Eslite Deputy Chairwoman Mercy Wu, however, said that if the purchase price is too high, the deal could be off.

I recently went back to Taiwan with my brother. I can't believe it's been 3 years since I've been back... Crazy!! So we took full advantage and did everything we missed the most on the first day. Eat!!!

Didn’t vlog that much because its our rest day today and we decided to shop for some clothes but we didn’t know that today is holiday and my mom didn’t have that much money left so we just shop a little bit then when reach the taipei main station we found a store that has a money changer. We just rest and eat dinner thats all. Kinda boring vlog sorreh. Oh and Wu fen pu is a district that sells clothes. Cheap clothes?? Idk
