Lands End To Plymouth By Train To Penzance,, To Land End Cycle Ride Part 2
In the mid 1980s whilst in the RAF Mountain Rescue, we spent a week in Cornwall knocking of the sea cliffs. Climbing. I lost a wide angle camera lens in the sea. The lads took the Micky out of me telling me that they had seen a cormorant flying away with it.
I had been wanting to go back to Lands end for a long time. So te only time I had in my summer schedules this year was last weekend. Mud July.
I booked by bike on the Plymouth train to Penzance the Day before, paid 21 pounds. , traveled to Penzance then cycled to Lands end 9 miles. Had a look around then walked with my bike along the coastal path going left of Lands end
I had just cycled back from Lands end when I came across the duo Olive view singing on the waterfront in Penzance. You can contact them though FACEBOOK.

I have a playlist called Compact Cassette that I update and change weekly (a regularly modified rotation, kind of like a radio station)
From the album An Awesome Wave. Footage is from the beautiful 1988 film Powaqqatsi: Life in Transformation.
Lyrics:
Indochina, Capa jumps Jeep, two feet creep up the road
To photo, to record meat lumps and war,
They advance as does his chance -- very yellow white flash.
A violent wrench grips mass, rips light, tears limbs like rags,
Burst so high finally Capa lands,
Mine is a watery pit. Painless with immense distance
From medic from colleague, friend, enemy,
foe, him five yards from his leg, From you Taro.
Do not spray into eyes -- I have sprayed you into my eyes.
3:10 pm, Capa pends death, quivers, last rattles, last chokes
All colours and cares glaze to grey, shrivelled and stricken to dots,
Left hand grasps what the body grasps not -- le photographe est mort.
3.1415, alive no longer my amour, faded for home May of '54
Doors open like arms my love, Painless with a great closeness
To Capa, to Capa Capa dark after nothing,
re-united with his leg and with you, Taro.
Do not spray into eyes -- I have sprayed you into my eyes.
Hey Taro!

Playing the Cape Breton fiddle | Natalie MacMaster
Natalie MacMaster and her musical partner Donnell Leahy play several tunes from the Cape Breton tradition -- a sprightly, soulful style of folk fiddling. It's an inspired collaboration that will have you clapping (and maybe dancing) along.
