LLANGRANNOG BEACH, West Wales
Llangrannog and Llandovery, Wales, UK. With Imo.
Imo makes the most of the beach and coastal path at Llangrannog and is not in the least put off by the drizzly weather. She explores a cave, tries out a new idea for a video to help people get to sleep (which goes horribly wrong) and climbs up a hill to look at Llandovery Castle on the way back home.
Family friendly content with closed captions in UK English.

I'm Imo and she's Izzy. We love getting out and about and exploring South Wales and beyond.
We're a home-schooling/home-educating family of two based in the UK dealing with the daily challenges of managing Izzy's severe, chronic eczema and her education. Our resourcefulness is tested on a daily basis but we'd love to share our little triumphs and discoveries with you as we go along.
I will always write closed captions in UK English for my vlogs, not only to make them more accessible in general but also to create a useful resource for advanced learners of the English language who may enjoy regular bursts of pseudo-immersion in English in a narrative context with the additional benefit of corresponding on-screen text.
These videos will not generally feature background music making them extra suitable for people who aren't keen on pop music! x

It's the day after the gig in Llangrannog, as featured in yesterday's vlog. We had a lovely stay and a very good sleep at the Pentre Arms, with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore right outside our window all night. We had breakfast there, sorted the gear out and then, due to the extortionate cost of parking at Llangrannog, drove to Tresaith Beach instead, where we parked up and explored. We strolled back to the car through Llety Caravan Park.

Llangrannog Walks, Ceredigion Walks In Wales, UK
Llangrannog Walks was about 4 miles in distance. The terrain of the route was a combination of woodland and coastal paths; plus lanes. The walking was moderately difficult with two steep ascents and descents along the coast. Route finding was easy with obvious paths, good waymarking and good landmarks. There were no stiles to negotiate.

Off to Llangrannog Again - Gig Day Vlog.
Off to Llangrannog Again - Gig Day Vlog.
We're very much back in the UK and back to our abnormal routine. Today, after dropping Izzy off at Granddad's, Imo and IB (That's Invisible Boyfriend - just in case you're new here. He IS real, but doesn't like to be on camera) are off to Llangrannog for a gig.
Imo shares her love for the Subway vegan patty on route to the rehearsal and gig.
There's lots of crashing waves and coastal loveliness in this one, along with a rather delicious seaside meal of fish and chips and a room tour of the place we were being put up in.
In the next vlog we'll actually be spending a bit of time in the area before heading back to collect Izzy.
Thanks so much for joining us! Do subscribe for more of these videos if you enjoyed it. Imo x

FAMILY WALES CARAVAN HOLIDAY!!
Back to current vlogging!!! I'll just post catch up vlogs as I find time, but from now on I am vlogging the now!!!
We went on a fantastic caravan holiday in Wales on Pendine Sands Beach. It was our first caravan holiday and it was wonderful. We all loved it, but the kids in particular had a blast. We got fab weather and good beach time and as Peter's father RIchard is from that area of Carmarthernshire Wales, we got to see lots of places significant to his family and childhood. We visited Richard's cousins David and Liz as well as visit Peter's grandparents' gravesite. It was so nice.
I will now be posting vlogs as well as other fun videos. Hope you stay tuned. And thanks to those of you who still watch! Lots of love!

Places to see in ( Solva - UK )
Places to see in ( Solva - UK )
Solva is a village and community in Pembrokeshire, Wales, comprising principally Lower Solva and Upper Solva. Solva lies on the north side of St Bride's Bay, in North Pembrokeshire in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. It lies on a deep valley at the mouth of the River Solva. In the valley is Lower Solva, consisting of a long street ending at the small harbour. Most of the modern development has been in Upper Solva, on the cliff top to the west of the harbour.
The village church honors Saint Aidan and is part of the parish of Whitchurch.[3]
The rocks at the entrance to Solva Harbour made it one of the most sheltered anchorages between Fishguard and Milford Haven. Solva became the main trading centre of St Bride's Bay in the medieval period, and was important for lime burning. Several lime kilns are preserved in the harbour area. In the 19th century, Solva had around 30 registered trading ships. The fading coastal trade has been replaced by tourism, and the harbour is now a popular boating centre. The village was the location for Wales' first butterfly farm, Solva Nectarium, which opened in 1979.
Every year on Easter Monday Solva hosts a Duck Race for charity. The ducks are released into the River Solva near Middle Mill and float down stream to Solva harbour. The winner is the first to cross under the footbridge in lower Solva car park. Each summer, Solva hosts a Regatta which features rowing for adults and children.
The spectacular local cliff coast is popular with walkers, and the classic cliff exposures of Cambrian rocks attract amateur and professional geologists. Solva Woollen Mill, located at the nearby village of Middle Mill, claims to be the oldest continuously working woollen mill in Pembrokeshire. Today the mill mostly manufactures carpets and rugs. There is a tearoom and a shop, and visitors are able to see the looms at work. Solva Harbour is a good example of a flooded valley known as a ria. Local rocks contain fossils from the Cambrian period. and the village gives its name to this rock sequence.
( Solva - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Solva . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Solva - UK
