Din Lligwy Celtic Sanctuary Anglesey

Video of this lovely Celtic site.It is reached by a footpath past chapel Lligwy.It consists of limestone huts/houses,coutyard and defensive walls.Magical and many think it was connected to the Druid priests working during the Roman occupation of Anglesey.

Eluveitie ~ Inis Mona

I was inspired by Eluveitie and my love of the ancient Celts and druids to make this video. I don't own any content. Pictures include sites in Anglesey or other parts of Wales/the world ;) (thank you, nature) and artefacts dragged from Llyn Cerrig Bach (Lake of Little Stones), a lake where the ancient Celts deposited metalwork, etc. as offerings to gods. Mona itself was the druids' stronghold, a place where druids to be, from all over the Celtic lands, were taught their knowledge and secrets. I included scenes of the Roman invasion of Mona and the killing of the druids... :( This video also has Chrigel's stamp of approval.

The history of the Isle of Anglesey goes back over 4000 years to the time of the Neolithic tribes, who buried their dead in chambered tombs like Bryn Celli Ddu. The Roman occupation, round houses at Din Lligwy, the Priory at Penmon are just some of the features in this wide screen documentary, together with more relatively recent places like Moelfre, Plas Newydd, Menai Bridge and the market at Llangefni.
