This Llyn Padarn Walk was about 5 miles in distance. The terrain of the route was a combination of woodland paths, tracks and lanes around Llyn Padarn with some great viewpoints along the way. The walking was mostly easy on level ground except for some steps and a little moderate ascent and descent near the start of the walk. Route finding was easy with obvious paths, good waymarking and good landmarks. There were no stiles to climb over, just one squeeze-stile.

Llyn Padarn is a glacially formed lake in Snowdonia, Gwynedd, north Wales, and is an example of a moraine dammed lake. The lake is approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) long (about 240 acres) and at its deepest point is 94 feet (29 m) deep, and is one of the largest natural lakes in Wales. At its south-eastern end it is linked to the neighbouring Llyn Peris (which forms the lower reservoir of the Dinorwig power station). The busy village of Llanberis lies on the southern banks of the lake.
The majority of Llyn Padarn is owned by Gwynedd Council and is part of Padarn Country Park. Whilst kayaking, rowing and sailing are permitted on the lake, powered craft require permission to use it. Bangor University Rowing Club row at Llyn Padarn.
In April 2014 Llyn Padarn was designated as Bathing Water under the Bathing Water Directive (2006/7/EC).
The outflow of Llyn Padarn is on the northern shore and is called Afon Rhythallt, which passes by the village of Brynrefail, Gwynedd and becomes Afon Seiont below Pont Rhythallt, near Llanrug. It reaches the sea at Caernarfon.
Padarn Country Park is located on the northern flank of the lake, including Coed Allt Wen, a rare and ancient sessile oak woodland. Both the woodland and Llyn Padarn are designated as Sites of Special Scientific Interest.
The Llanberis Lake Railway also runs along its eastern bank and various recreational activities take place on the lake, especially during the summer. These include canoeing, boating and fishing. The lake was the venue for the rowing events of the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games.
Former local bus company Padarn Bus, which operated between 1979 and 2014 from a base at nearby Llanberis, was named after the lake.

Llyn-Padarn Outdoor Sector Event in Llanberis
Cefais wahoddiad i Digwyddiad Sector Awyr Agored yn Llanberis yn ddiweddar .
Bwriad y diwrnod, wedi ei drefnu gan Cyngor Gwynedd a Llwyddo'n Lleol, oedd i hyrwyddo y cyfleoedd swyddi a hunangyflogaeth ynghyd a’r sgiliau a chymwysterau sydd angen er mwyn gweithio o fewn yn y sector o fewn yr ardal leol i dros 100 o blant o ysgolion Gwynedd.

The aim of the event, organised by Gwynedd Council and Llwyddo'n Lleol, was to promote the skills needed to work within the outdoor sector, along with promote the job opportunities and self employment opportunities within the sector locally to over 100 pupils from Gwynedd schools.

Llanberis is a village, community and electoral ward in Gwynedd, northwest Wales, on the southern bank of the lake Llyn Padarn and at the foot of Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. This video was captured in April 2019 using the DJI Spark Drone and edited using Adobe Premiere Pro.

Places to see in ( Llanberis - UK )
Llanberis is a village in Gwynedd, northwest Wales, on the southern bank of the lake Llyn Padarn and at the foot of Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. Llanberis takes its name from Moi Tudur, an early Welsh saint. It is twinned with the Italian town of Morbegno in Lombardy.
Llanberis is a popular centre for outdoor activities in Snowdonia, including walking, mountaineering, climbing, mountain biking and pony trekking as well as water sports such as Scuba Diving. The international fell race known as the Snowdon Race (Welsh: Ras Yr Wyddfa) to the summit of Snowdon begins in the village.
The ruins of Dolbadarn Castle, which were famously painted by Richard Wilson and J.M.W. Turner, stand above the village. The 13th century fortress was built by Llywelyn the Great and is a grade I listed building. The churches St Padarn are both grade II* listed buildings, as is the chapel of Capel Coch. In the 18th century Llanberis was the home of the legendary strong woman Marged Ferch Ifan.
Places of interest in and near the village include the Snowdon Mountain Railway, the National Slate Museum, the Llanberis Lake Railway, Llyn Padarn country park and Electric Mountain. Tours of Dinorwig power station are also available from a purpose-built visitor centre.
The village is a popular starting point for ascents of Snowdon because the Llanberis Path begins in the village. Although it is the longest route, it is the least strenuous route to the summit, largely following the line of the Snowdon Mountain Railway. This makes it the most popular walking route on the mountain.
The village used to be served by Llanberis railway station on a branch line of the Carnarvonshire Railway. Passenger services ceased in 1932; freight continued until closure in 1964. The heritage Snowdon Mountain Railway and Llanberis Lake Railway both have stations in the town, but serve primarily as tourist attractions instead of local transport links.
