Breathtaking 9 hour Bus Ride from Chile to Argentina ???? Santiago to Mendoza by Bus
We travelled by bus from Santiago, Chile to Mendoza, Argentina. It was much quicker and about the same price to fly but we heard the bus ride was one of the best in the world, and it did not disappoint. It ended up being one of the most amazing bus rides we’ve ever been on if not one of the most beautiful bus rides in the world.
We travelled with Cata Internacional ( from Santiago to Mendoza. Tickets cost about $30 USD per person, and tickets were booked online. We were able to book the upper level front seats to have the most amazing view- and if you’re going to do this bus ride we’d highly recommend doing the same.
The bus left from South Terminal (Terminal Sur) in the international section. Make sure you are fully checked in before boarding the bus.
The bus ride took about 8-9 hours including a stop at the boarder that took about one hour. We’d heard it can take much longer but we left in the afternoon and it seems most buses leave in the morning or at night. Light snacks including juice, sandwiches and coffee were served on the bus but we’d also recommend packing some additional snacks and some water.
If you’re thinking about taking this bus ride we’d highly recommend it as it’s an absolutely stunning bus ride through the Andes Mountains.

MENDOZA ARGENTINA best STEAK- MENDOZA City tour -MALBEC wine & FOLKLORE.
Mendoza (/mɛnˈdoʊzə/, American Spanish: [menˈdosa]), officially the City of Mendoza (Spanish: Ciudad de Mendoza) is the capital of the province of Mendoza in Argentina. It is located in the northern-central part of the province, in a region of foothills and high plains, on the eastern side of the Andes. As of the 2010 census [INDEC], Mendoza had a population of 115,041 with a metropolitan population of 1,055,679, making Greater Mendoza the fourth largest census metropolitan area in the country.
Ruta Nacional 7, the major road running between Buenos Aires and Santiago, runs through Mendoza. The city is a frequent stopover for climbers on their way to Aconcagua (the highest mountain in the Western and Southern Hemispheres) and for adventure travelers interested in mountaineering, hiking, horse riding, rafting, and other sports. In the winter, skiers come to the city for easy access to the Andes.
Two of the main industries of the Mendoza area are olive oil production and Argentine wine. The region around Greater Mendoza is the largest wine-producing area in Latin America. As such, Mendoza is one of the nine Great Wine Capitals,[1] and the city is an emerging enotourism destination and base for exploring the region's hundreds of wineries located along the Argentina -wikipdeia
We stayed 1 week in Mendoza.it was a good stay, nice people friendly. the food was also good. we had the best Steak in Oregano restaurant beside our hotel. Oregano Restaurant was a good restaurant will not get disappointed if you dine in there.there are lots of restaurants but the best Steak is in Oregano. easy to roam around the centre everything is close. and they have good local wines Malbec ,Torrontes and etc. at a reasonable price. overall Mendoza is a nice place to visit.

Vineyarding in Mendoza – in the Clouds of Malbec
The brand Bodegueando en Mendoza - in the Clouds of Malbec is the result of a fruitful alliance between the main tourism stakeholders of the region, coming both from the public and private sectors, which have decided to join forces to develop a more innovative tourism product to allow the tourist to discover the wine region of Mendoza in a completely new way, while contributing to improving the competitiveness of the region and positioning Mendoza as a wine tourism destination. Bodegueando en Mendoza - in the Clouds of Malbec is an innovative proposal that genuinely connects all the components of the wine value chain to build the ideal tourism product that would correctly enhance the true identity of Mendoza. To do so, wine tourism experiences are built upon the local agricultural variety of products, the diverse landscapes, the rich handicraft heritage of the area. Developed in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), all tourism products contribute to the development of sustainable development, the empowerment of women and ending poverty in the region.

Budget Travel Argentina! Mendoza Vlog
Budget travel tips in argentina are quite handy since it is one of the more expensive countries in south america. We headed to Mendoza and saved a lot by booking a homestay, cooking our own meals, and enjoying the free winery tours. Horseback riding was one of the most expensive things we did here, but it included lunch and wine!
