MONTRÉAL Vlogs: Old Montréal, Le Petit Dep, Schwartz's & More!
Welcome to another day of exploring and eating in # Montreal! We started our day with brunch at Le Petit Dep, a cozy cafe and convenience store on the historic Saint Paul Street. Then, we did some sightseeing and shopping around Old Montreal, with a quick stop at Queues de Castor to enjoy the popular beaver tail snack. To round up our day, we tried the smoked sandwich at Schwartz’s and the poutine and Portuguese chicken at Ma Poule Mouillée.

Lonely Planet author Tim Hornyak shows off the culinary highlights of his home town Montreal, Canada. Forget high end cuisine - there are particular local specialties brought to the city by immigrants from around the world. Tim takes on a teetering smoked meat sandwich from Schwartz's, bagels from the St. Viateur bakery and a serious-looking mountain of gravy-smothered fries called 'Poutine' from La Banquise. Montreal in 24 hours | Staycation + Food | Mtlfoodsnob
Stuck in Montreal for 38 hours? That's GREAT news! Montreal is a beautiful, vibrant and fun city that I am lucky enough to call home. In this vlog, you'll get a taste of my delicious town through 3 meals
A. Dinner on a terrasse : eating outdoor is a quintessential Montreal summer activity. With winter taking over almost three quarters of our yearly temperature - Montrealers love to seat outside whenever they can.
B. Brunch: Montrealer's weekly pilgrimage to honour bacon and poached eggs. There's nothing better wake up call than that of bottomless mimosas.
C. Casual dinner: We don't take ourselves too seriously - which is why a few bites at a local brasserie is a perfect setting to end a great journey in Montreal. But casual doesn't mean tasteless! Here we visit a Japanese/Peruvian eatery, which was de-li-shuusssss.

MONTREAL | Day 2 FOOD TOUR
Hello Lolos and Lolas! One of a kind food tasting! On our 4-hour tour of the Mile End neighborhood, we visited 6 unique tasting locations. We had a variety of food samples, including the decadent Quebecois choclolates to fresh homemade tomato sauces! There were also free water bottles through out the tour to keep us hydrated. We met at the famous sustainable Green Panther vegan eatery. It was true! They have the BEST FALAFEL! EVER! We savoured their most lovingly produced chocolate at Chocolats Genevieve Grandbois, enjoyed the famous bagel from St. Viateur Bagel (Est. 1957), fresh home made gnocchi with their very own tomato sauce at Drogheria Fine. There was also a neighborhood butcher shop offering specialty charcuterie, as meat that has been raised locally and humanely. That is so awesome, Ey? ^^ We finished off with some delicious local ice cream from the city's most beloved ice cream makers Kem Coba.
Thank you for watching!
Thrifting, Eating, & Drinking in Mile End // Montreal, Canada // HI Canada
I went thrift shopping, eating, and drinking in Montreal's hip Mile End in Canada. HI Canada gave us a sweet tour of the artsy district in Montreal. We went thrifting, ate Montreal doughnuts (or donuts), drank tea, and ate loads of authentic Canadian food.
