The Ultimate Local’s Guide to Denver || Gatekeepers
Next stop: Denver, Colorado, with local gatekeeper Stephanie Kroll. From base jumping from a 75-foot tour, to trying Rocky Mountain oysters, to an exclusive tour of the Green Dragon grow house, there are plenty of highs in this week's episode. Here’s your guide to what to eat, drink, and do in Denver.
In every city there’s someone who’s connected, who knows where to go on a slow Monday night and can get a table anywhere they want on a Friday - in every city there’s a Gatekeeper. In this Thrillist travel show, we’re sending our host across the country to meet up with these Gatekeepers and experience first hand everything you should make sure to do/eat/drink, one city at a time.

Newcomer's guide to Colorado's craziest restaurants
Nearly 100,000 people move to Colorado every year. It's one of the fastest growing states in the entire country. Boulder taco trucks, finding the best authentic street taco in boulder colorado
This was a fun one to film, but what else do you expect when filming involves just wandering around a beautiful city eating a bunch of tacos? From Canyon and 15th, to far east boulder city, I found some amazing authentic, and not so authentic, taco trucks. With flavor profiles ranging from a real taste of mexican street food, to taco tuesday and grandma smith's. All jokes aside, each of these places was a joy to eat at, and none of them deserve too much flack. Even if I didn't quite manage to find a 10/10 taco, there was a couple close calls there, and as homogeneous as boulder's food scene can seem at times, I think I show pretty well that there are authentic options out there if you're willing to go and find it.

If you've got other awesome places you think I should have tried, let me know in the comments, I'm always looking for authentic examples of regional street foods, ethnic cuisines, or just good old fashioned delicious food.
Coming next week, New mexico videos should start to come in, and my new website should be launched, from which I'll be food vlogging to start, and potentially doing more as time goes on.
