VISITING SCOTLAND: Loch Morlich, cairngorm mountain range, Aviemore, Holy island
This is a short video showing a few things that we did when we went to Scotland. We visited Loch Morlich which is near the Cairngorm mountains and also went across to the holy island.
Filmed using the DJI phantom 3 standard drone and the Canon 750d. In theses clips the video quality doesn't look the best as it was quite dark when filming.

January Loch Morlich Cairngorms National Park Highlands Of Scotland
Tour Scotland January travel video of snow falling at Loch Morlich on visit to the Highlands. Loch Morlich, Scottish Gaelic, Loch Mhùrlaig, is a freshwater loch in the Badenoch and Strathspey area of Highlands near Aviemore. During the Second World War the area around Loch Morlich was used as a commando school. In particular it was used as a training area for the Kompani Linge, the Norwegian Independent army Company, trained by the British Special Operations Executive, because of the close resemblance of the area, both in landscape and climate, to Norway.

Canoeing Loch Morlich Aviemore - Mega Kids
PRACTICE VIDEOS - Loch Morlich and the river from the water this time, as David and Emily practice their video skills, while I try to push myself physically continuing my rehab. It turned out to be a weak test for me paddling, as the water was flat calm. But I think David and Emily did okay, showing off this beautiful Scottish Loch!

Aviemore: Spring 2016 Edition
READ ME! Since before I can remember, Aviemore has been my favourite place in the world. It was the location of most of my childhood holidays, and twice, sometimes three times a year, my family and I would pack up the car and head north to spend a few days in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Now, my mum and I make the effort to go up at least once a year, usually just for a weekend, to relax and recharge, and spend time in these places that just make me feel so content.
I've vlogged trips to Aviemore before, but for some reason I never uploaded them. I think there's a weird part of me that sees this place as being so special, and so much a part of me and my life, that I didn't want to share it. But that, I realise, is ridiculous. Because this place is wonderful, and I should be encouraging everyone I know to go and spend time there. I genuinely think the walks through the pine forests and the clean mountain air are good for your health (mental and physical!).
In this vlog you'll see tiny portions of the drive from where I live, near Glasgow, to Aviemore, the Highland Wildlife Park where we go every single visit, the beautiful Cairngorm Mountains, still topped with snow in April, and, most importantly, Loch Morlich - my favourite place in the world.
I've called this the Spring edition, because I'm planning to try to make an Aviemore video for every season. In the autumn, it's particularly breathtaking, with golden leaves and purple heather giving the whole landscape a glow that photos and videos can't even do justice to.
So enjoy this little snippet of my home from home, and let me know in the comments below where your favourite place is!
