Lockhart Farm Tourism started on 22nd January 2014 with an aim of utilizing the existing resources and generating employment opportunities to the dependents of the Estate workers. Generally tourism activities have led to damages to the environment but to have a tourism business model which preserves nature, allows people to be in natural environment and at the same time educate them is the way forward. Along with promotion of tourism, 'Farm Tourism' also helps to maintain the balance of the nature by giving importance to the natural resources. Among the growing sectors in Tourism, Farm Tourism can be considered to be the best among the five types of rural tourism. The other types are eco¬tourism, adventure, cultural and activity tourism. Farm tourism is also known as agro-tourism or agri¬tourism. Any agriculture based activity, which attracts tourists can be termed as farm tourism. Apart from direct employment, lots of local tourist guides are getting benefited. Those who are visiting the farm will be getting an opportunity to spend their valuable moments here. What makes a farm stay different is nothing but the serene ambience here. A healthy walk through the farm itself is a way to rejuvenate yourself. Everything will be natural here. You will not have to set alarm clocks to wake up in the morning, the nature itself will help you to get out of your sleep. A farm stay is also a treat for your taste buds. Along with mouth watering recipes, you will also be able to follow a healthy diet at these farm houses.
Lockhart Kiosk is also a best spot for shopping natural products. Some among them also provides organic seeds to explore the farmer in you. Getting closer to the nature is the best way to be away from majority of the lifestyle diseases. One can Experience this directly with the help of Lockhart farm tourism.

Devikulam falls
Situated in God’s own country; Kerala, Devikulam is a small hill station a little ahead of Munnar in Idukki district. Apart from being a quaint little town, Devikulam derives its name from legends. According to mythology, goddess Sita of the Ramayana took a bath in the Devikulam lake which is now known as the Sita Devi lake. Due to its place in Hindu mythology, the place attracts a lot or tourists who regard the water of the lake as sacred and pure. Along with its sacredness, the lake is also known for its medicinal properties. The place is also known for its greenery and tea plantations. As little a town as having only 350 people in 2010, Devikulam is abundant with places to visit
As iam a traveler its good place to see
