Melbu Norway Part 2 - Taking the car ferry to continue on highway E10 - 09/18/2010
I (Leif Sporck) took this video while taking a car ferry from Melbu to Fiskebol, Norway on highway E-10. As you drive North in Norway there is one place where you must take a car ferry across a fjord inorder to continue North. What is amazing, is that the transportation is so efficient that I have never had to wait more then 15 miuntes for the next ferry. It is almost like taking bridges in the United States. As you drive out in the Lofoten Peninsula and on the costal highway that runs along the coast there are many more places where you must take ferrys. These ferrys do not run as often as the ferry on the main highway, but they are still running several times a day. This ferry in the video is on the Lofoten Peninsula. I think it costs about 20-40$ to take you car across. I took this video on September 18, 2013!!!!

Arctic Plunge - Short film by Brian To - Narrator Sally Kirkland
Brian To -
Synopsis: Arctic Plunge is an apology from an older woman (Academy Award nominee Sally Kirkland) to a 16-year-old boy who took his own life after she rejected him during an Arctic tour years ago. While imagery conveys the breakup of man’s endangered relationship with Earth, sorrow and regret haunt her as she reflects on the void left in her heart.
Arctic Plunge Trailer:
Production notes:
ARTIC PLUNGE was shot over three years in various Arctic regions. In 2014, filmmaker Brian To thought he was shooting stock footage at the time until meeting 16-year-old William Dewar and 25-year-old Jessica P. Jackson while on a polar bear tour of Svalbard, Norway. This inspired him to create a break-up story line. In 2015, the real life-murder suicide of a couple, who were cast members of To's last short film, Dry Dock, helped to inspire the narration performed by Sally Kirkland. (Dry Dock link:
