The Logslide Expedition
This is from the last camping trip we had before allen went to college again. We went to Grand Marais and camped at 12 mile beach. It was pretty cool because we lucked out with a free camp site!! The people before us left early because of the bugs, the bugs didn't seem to bother us because of the camper. Then Austin and Allen went down the log slide and this is there adventure!!

Hiking at Pictured Rocks NL - Munising Falls & Log Slide
1st of several Pictured Rocks videos taken in early Sept 2015:
Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is in the Upper Peninsula of the state of Michigan on the Lake Superior lake shore.
2 time's a charm. On my second attempt to visit this place I came better prepared. This video features the Munising Falls just inside the park and the Log Slide - about 30 miles away...as well as scenes from the Munising Campground and 12 Mile Campground - both on the shores of Lake Superior.

Devil's Log Slide - Pictured Rocks National Park
Located only 7 miles west of Grand Marais, MI on Alger County Road H-58. This place is probably the most beautiful places I've been in the Northwoods. This is part of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and is easy to get to. Sign at the park shows it's about 500 ft to the bottom and could take as little as 30 seconds to get to the bottom. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend it. Hope you enjoy the video. If you did, hit the thumbs up button for me and don't forget to subscribe :) Thanks.

H58 driving east
Saturday, July 12, 2008--Ben driving on H58 from the campsite road up to Grand Marais. It is about 30 miles up this dirt road. We may have passed another car on the way, but I'm not sure we ran into anyone at all.
