The Lomita Railroad Museum was the first of its kind west of Denver, Colorado. It was made possible through the generosity of Mrs. Irene Lewis who donated the Museum to the City of Lomita in honor of her late husband, Martin Lewis, in 1967. It was a rather natural thing for Mrs. Lewis to do since she had been a dedicated railroader and spent many years building Little Engines, a business devoted entirely to developing and manufacturing miniature steam operated locomotives which were sold all over the world. The museum proudly displays some of these locomotives.
The Museum was built in 1966. Much research and study was given to depot structures before the final home the Museum was chosen. Mrs. Lewis chose to copy the Boston & Maine's Greenwood Station at Wakefield, Massachusetts, which was built before the turn of the century.
The Museum has been referred to as a work of art. Everyone who worked on the building was an artist in his line. This of course includes John W. Gallareto, designer and builder. No expense was spared too produce a proper and appropriate treasury to house the valuable historical items on display in the Museum.
Dedicated to the proud era of the steam engine, complete authenticity is the hallmark of the Museum. On display is a Southern Pacific Steam Locomotive (1902-1960) and Tender. Nearby stand a 1910 Union Pacific Caboose and a modern all-steel Santa Fe caboose. On display at the Annex Park are a 1923 Union Oil Tank Car and a 1913 Southern Pacific outside-braced wood box car. Also check out our Water Tower.
And of course who can forget the 72 x 25 ft. Railroad Mural that use to decorate the corner of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and Narbonne Ave. Postcards of the old mural are available at the museum.

Sheriff Villanueva Meeting At City Of Lomita, California
Sheriff Alex Villanueva is unfit as a chief. So according to him, criminals have more rights than citizens. I complained this man about irresponsible neighbors playing music loud overnight and asked him to go tough against offenders. But instead, Sheriff is making excuses saying that those people have 1st amendment and he can't do nothing about it. So according to this man's logic, if the offenders are in country illegally, they have same constitutional rights as US citizens. This is total insanity of liberalism. Liberals emphasize too much of personal freedoms, but cry foul against personal responsibility. This sheriff also refuses to cooperate with ICE and deport illegal alien criminals because they just committed misdemeanor. If those far left liberals think US is still racist, I recommend them to go to other countries such as Japan and Mexico and look how those countries treat people who violated their immigration law. We are way too compassionate compared to other countries. Anyways, we should recall this man and reelect somebody who are pro American and tough on enforcement.

Welcome to the Palm Springs Air Museum out in
Palm Springs, California.
I have been to Palm Springs, California before but I do Not remember ever visiting this Fantastic Air Museum.
This is actually the 14th Most Important Air Museum in the World according to CNN and I am Very Proud to be a part of it.
Furthermore, the museum contains four (4) hangars of 86,000 square feet of climate controlled interior space and another 40,000 feet of space outside in the back.
There are 59+ flying and static WWII Korean and Vietnamese Aircraft Displays, plus Additional Artifacts, Paintings and other Displays in all four (4) hangars.
There is even a Cafe and a Children's area inside the B-17 hangar
and an education center upstairs with a 9,500 volume library and flight simulators.
You definitely will have plenty of things to do while visiting and plan on being here for at least three (3) hours or more in order to thorough enjoy everything that the museum has to offer.
I want to personally Thank Ann Greer for making the arrangements for ME to be here and Peter Behenna for helping to make my Youtube Video as well!

Ruland Junction Toy Train Museum on THV11
Here's me recording myself on the 6 pm THV11 coverage of the Ruland Junction Toy Train Museum in Heber Springs, AR. It actually turned out a lot better than I thought it was gonna be. It was great to see my friends Joseph Rose and Maggie Williams there as well, though I really wish my best friend Jamie Swain(GenericRailfan) was there too. Oh well, here's the museum news coverage for all to enjoy.

City Of Lomita,CA Water Project Construction Hell on PCH 1.6.2012
This is video in front of my apartment building in the city of Lomita, CA. The video was taken approximately at midnight, Thursday Jan 5th, 2012. I was told by the engineers repairing the water line, that the City Of Lomita Water Project would be completed by October 31, 2011. The video posted and dated here is over 2 months longer than the expected and quoted date I was told the project would be completed, by the engineers. They have repeatedly lied as to when the job would be completed. The hours and days these men work are Sundays through Friday mornings, from the hours of 8:30 PM till 6:00 AM. It is extremely loud, disruptive and I believe that they are repeatedly digging the same locations over and over, (I have counted as many as 6 times in the same location.) The work is not consistent, they start and stop sometimes weeks apart and I do not believe that they are working consistently to finish the project in a timely manner.
