The London Games aren't even over but already Russia is trying to turn our attention to its own Olympic Games, being held in the Black Sea coastal resort of Sochi in 2014. Sochi.Park opens in London (RT video)
Russia showcases 2014 Olympics at center in Kensington Gardens. Russia Sochi Park has welcomed its first visitors in London's Kensington Gardens on Thursday.
The interactive center is aimed at showing the Western public the venue for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games and all its facilities - as well as the country's new face.
We are very pleased that here in the heart of London we have a piece of land showing our latest achievements in Sochi, Russian Olympic Committee President Aleksandr Zhukov told reporters.
Visitors will be able to meet Russian Olympians and watch live Olympic broadcasts.
Our top athletes will perform here, everyone will be able to look at the achievements of our sport, Zhukov added.
Russia Sochi Park boasts a series of themed halls featuring various aspects of the future games, as well as regional cultural and natural marvels. Interactive screens offer a virtual tour of Southern Russia's Krasnodar Region. Visitors can also test themselves as Formula 1 drivers and try out the prospective speedway, which is currently under construction.
The center is part of a Cultural Olympics program launched in 2010, which will run until the opening of the Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014.
The London center is the first part of the project to be held outside Russia.

Hello, my dearest friends! Welcome to the last Russia travel vlog 2019! It is already the end of December, we all are waiting for the holidays! And I`m suffering from the constant lack of time. It is my permanent problem... That is why today I want to finish with the travel vlogs of this year, that is why this is my last Russia trip vlog this year that I wanted to show you, my friends!
I haven`t been out of Russian in 2019, but I had several wonderful trips to one of my favourite cities in this world - to Sochi. I`m sure that if you want to go to Russia, you should definitely visit it! Sochi is a unique city with lots of different areas. some of them are authentic and old-fashioned, the other ones seem to be modern and luxury. Sochi Russia is a popular travel destination.
This travel vlog shows you the city in November. I filmed it during our last Russia trip 2019. And it is the final part of a big story about our Russian Sochi trip 2019 - it is the last day of our journey and a small part of the road from Sochi to Volgograd by Russian train.
On our channel you can find the videos from Sochi made during different seasons, I hope that it will help you to choose the perfect time for your Russia travelling experience.
I want my videos to be not only entertaining but also helpful. I`m trying to film such videos as a true-to-life Russia trip vlog, Russia trip on a budget episodes, because I`m a simple Russian who travels with the family and wants to save some money instead of spending everything that we have on overpriced stuff and services. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian PM Narendra Modi meet for first informal summit in Sochi on Monday.
Following the negotiations, they took a boat ride from Bocharev Creek to Olympic Park in Sochi. Then they moved to the Sirius centre for gifted education. They also visited Krasnaya Polyana’s ethnographic centre ‘My Russia.’ The leaders discussed both global and regional issues, paying special attention to the economic talks.
