London Bridge - Sandstone - WA
This is a popular tourist attraction called London Bridge its a bloody long drive from Perth and this day was a staggering 47 degrees plus the wind which made it challenging to stand there and fly. I have never been so glad to get back into the air conditioned car. The poor TBS quad and go pro 3 performed well with both the extreme heat and wind

The Great Ocean Road is an #Australian #National #Heritage listed 243 kilometres (151 mi) stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of #Australia between the #Victorian cities of #Torquay and #Allansford. Built by returned soldiers between 1919 and 1932 and dedicated to soldiers killed during World War I, the road is the world's largest war memorial. Winding through varying terrain along the coast and providing access to several prominent landmarks, including the #Twelve #Apostles limestone stack formations, the road is an important tourist attraction in the region
The Great Ocean Road starts at Torquay and travels 244 kilometres westward to finish at Allansford near #Warrnambool, the largest city along the road. The road is two lane (one in each direction), and is covered by a speed limit changing between 50 kilometres per hour and 100 kilometres per hour.
The road is considered a tourist attraction in the area, in which much of the road hugs coastline affectionately known as the Surf Coast between Torquay and Cape Otway and the Shipwreck Coast further west of Cape Otway, providing visibility of Bass Strait and the Southern Ocean. The road traverses rainforests, as well as beaches and cliffs composed of limestone and sandstone, which is susceptible to erosion. The road travels via Anglesea, Lorne, Apollo Bay, and Port Campbell, the latter being notable for its natural limestone and sandstone rock formations including Loch Ard Gorge, The Grotto, London Arch (formerly London Bridge) and The Twelve Apostles. At the stretch of the Great Ocean Road nearer to Geelong, the road meanders along the coast, with tall, almost-vertical cliffs on the other side of it. Road signs put up along the road warn motorists of possible rockfalls, which have occurred before.

Landsdowne Bridge down stream - 09/11/2013
Location: Hume Highway, Lansvale, NSW 2166
Constructed: 1834-1836
Bridges are not just functional, they can also be scenic and engineering attractions so spare some time to admire Lansdowne Bridge. Lansdowne Bridge was built by convicts from 1834-36 and is considered to be one of the finest examples of Colonial Architecture in Australia. The sandstone arch has the largest span of any surviving masonry bridge in Australia and the size, appearance and durability of this bridge make it an outstanding example of colonial engineering.Lansdowne bridge was designed and supervised by David Lennox. Born in Ayr, Scotland in 1788 David Lennox was trained as a stonemason. He worked on Telford's Menai Suspension Bridge at Anglesey in Wales and on Gloucester Bridge where he learnt the sound construction principles he used on his Colonial projects. He emigrated to Australia in 1832. He immediately found employment as a mason with the government. While working at the Legislative Council Chambers in Macquarie Street, Sydney, Lennox met the Surveyor-General Sir Thomas Mitchell. The Surveyor-General lost little time in submitting Lennox's credentials to the Governor, describing him as 'a very well qualified person recently arrived in the Colony.' Acting on Mitchell's recommendation, Governor Bourke provisionally appointed Lennox as a Sub-Inspector of Bridges at a salary of 120 pounds per annum. In June 1833 the position was confirmed by London as Superintendent of Bridges. (Wikipedia)

Never Be Without Power again.
My Three most used sayings are.
1) A house roof looks unfinished until it has solar panels on it.
2) A man is not looking after his family until he is producing his own power.
3) Solar systems can be kind of pricey at first. Having power when no one else does, PRICELESS
