Places to see in ( Redditch - UK )
Places to see in ( Redditch - UK )
Redditch is a town and local government district in north-east Worcestershire, England, approximately 15 miles south of Birmingham. In the 19th century Redditch became the international centre for the needle and fishing tackle industry. At one point 90% of the world's needles were manufactured in the town of Redditch and its neighbourhoods. In the 1960s Redditch became a model for modern new town planning. Redditch is known locally by the nickname The Ditch.
Redditch is in Worcestershire, just south of the West Midlands urban area. It is 15 miles (24 km) north of Evesham on the A435, which skirts it to the east. The main access routes are the A441 via junction 2 of the M42 Motorway, the A435 from junction 3 of the M42 and the A448 via junctions 4 or 5 of the M5. The Roman Road known as Icknield Street is prominent, running north to south through the eastern side of the town.
The Borough of Redditch is divided into several districts. To the east of the town are New Town Districts built in the 1970s and 1980s. To the west of the Borough are older Former Village Districts that dominate the south and west.
The Cross-City Line provides a regular train service via Birmingham New Street to Lichfield Trent Valley. Redditch railway station, the southern terminus of the line, was first opened as the terminus of the Redditch Railway on 19 September 1859, alongside what is now Clive Road. This first station stayed until 4 May 1868 when the last section from Alcester to Redditch of the Redditch and Evesham Railway was closed, at which point a second station was built alongside the junction of Bromsgrove Road and Plymouth Road.
Redditch is occasionally noted for its confusing road system dominated by a system of dual carriageways built when it became a New Town, including the only cloverleaf interchange in England at the junction of the A441 and the Bromsgrove-bound A448.
Bordesley Abbey remains of a former Cistercian abbey, later used as a Royal Swannery. Forge Mill Needle Museum exhibition of traditional needle making. Morton Stanley Park A public park in the village of Callow Hill with views of the Malvern Hills and wider Worcestershire. Kingfisher Shopping Centre was opened in 1976 by the then Prime Minister James Callaghan and now forms the town's primary retail centre. Redditch has 900 acres (3.6 km2) of public open space in Arrow Valley Country Park. Redditch was the home of the Royal Enfield motorcycle.
( Redditch - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Redditch . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Redditch - UK

A Tour of the Longstock Water Gardens, England, UK in HD 1080p
The Longstock Park Water Gardens covers around seven acres and was originally created by the Beddington family during the early 1900's. The water gardens became part of the estate in 1942 and since then the gardens have been nurtured and developed to become the finest, famous water gardens. John Spedan Lewis spent much of his later life in these gardens and whilst the gardens remain true to this time, our philosophy is to evolve the landscape so that it remains a vibrant, tranquil and beautiful place to visit.
The water remains crystal clear, connecting the two islands and woodland valleys; Longstock and Leckford together. This giant, yet intimate garden attracts visitors from all over the world and have become famous water gardens in their own right.
The garden is a true spectacle, hosting an array of plants form around the world.
It is the perfect location and setting to nurture a diverse amount of plants, with over forty different waterlilies alone. This entices people from all around the world, inviting them to appreciate the experience, relax and enjoy the views.

Places to see in ( Kidderminster - UK )
Kidderminster is a large town and civil parish in the Wyre Forest district of Worcestershire, England. Kidderminster is located approximately 17 miles south-west of Birmingham city centre and approximately 15 miles north of Worcester city centre.
A parliamentary report of 1777 listed Kidderminster Borough as having a parish workhouse accommodating up to 70 inmates. Under the so-called Gilbert's Act of 1782 Kidderminster Union was established for the purpose of relieving the indigent poor. Kidderminster has two Commissioners' churches. The first was St. George's church, on Radford Avenue. The second church was St. John's Church, on the Bewdley Road.
The River Stour and the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal both flow through Kidderminster town centre. Kidderminster Town is a civil parish within Wyre Forest District, with Kidderminister Town Council created to take on the duties of a parish council following a referendum in May 2015.
Two railway stations in the town share the same approach road and are located less than fifty metres apart. The main Network Rail station operated by London Midland is Kidderminster, from where trains run to Birmingham, Worcester and London. The other station, Kidderminster Town, is the terminus of the preserved Heritage Railway line, Severn Valley Railway from where trains run to Bridgnorth.

Places to see in ( Broadway - UK )
Places to see in ( Broadway - UK )
Broadway is a large village and civil parish within the Cotswolds, located in the county of Worcestershire, England. Broadway is situated in the far southeast of Worcestershire and very close to the Gloucestershire border, midway between the towns of Evesham and Moreton-in-Marsh.
Often referred to as the Jewel of the Cotswolds, Broadway village lies beneath Fish Hill on the western Cotswold escarpment. The broad way is the wide grass-fringed main street, centred on the Green, which is lined with red chestnut trees and honey-coloured Cotswold limestone buildings, many dating from the 16th century.
Broadway is known for its association with the Arts and Crafts movement, and is situated in an area of outstanding scenery and conservation. The wide High Street is lined with a wide variety of shops and cafes, many housed in listed buildings. The village is overlooked by Broadway Hill, the highest point in the northern Cotswolds at 1,024 ft (312 m) above sea level, which is popular with hill walkers.
Today, Broadway is a centre for arts and antiques and serves as a natural base from which to explore the Cotswolds or see the horse racing during the busy Cheltenham Gold Cup week. Tourism is important – the village is well-served with hotels, including the Broadway Hotel, Russell's a restaurant with rooms, the 1600s Cotswold inn the Lygon Arms, a caravan site, holiday cottages, bed and breakfast lodges, old pubs including the Swan Inn and Crown & Trumpet, shops, restaurants and tea rooms.
Local attractions include the Gordon Russell Museum (celebrating the work of the 20th-century furniture maker Sir Gordon Russell MC), the Ashmolean Museum Broadway displaying objects from the 17th to the 21st centuries in 'Tudor House' a former 17th-century coaching inn, the 65-foot (20 m) high Broadway Tower on its hilltop site in the Broadway Country Park, Chipping Campden, Snowshill village, Snowshill Manor (owned by the National Trust), horse riding and, for the many ramblers, the Cotswold Way.
Broadway was once served by a railway line, a relative latecomer in British railway history, opened in 1904 by the Great Western Railway and running from Stratford-upon-Avon to Cheltenham, part of a main line from Birmingham to the South West and South Wales. Broadway railway station along with almost all others on this section closed in 1960. Thus, although Broadway has a railway station site and a Station Road, it is no longer served by National Rail services. The nearest railway stations are Evesham, Honeybourne and Moreton-in-Marsh, on the main line train service running between Hereford and London Paddington station and on the Cotswold Line between Oxford and Worcester.
( Broadway - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Broadway . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Broadway - UK

US couple narrowly escape gang of machete-wielding bandits
SHOCKING footage shows a group of machete-wielding bandits chasing an American couple on a dusty road in Kenya.
Bryant Swenson and his wife Lauren, from Utah, were driving near Mai Mahiu on November 30 when three masked men attacked their car.
The couple, who moved to Nairobi with their three kids to open a CrossFit gym, spotted a white van which the gangsters are believed to have been trying to rob.
Bryant said in a Facebook post about the attempted robbery, that one of the men was carrying a gun but “couldn't get it out of his waistbelt in time”.
As the bandits rushed towards their Toyota Land Cruiser, Bryant had to reverse backwards to give himself time to roll up his window before moving past the dangerous criminals.
He then quickly shifted back into drive and sped past the three bandits who hurled their giant blades at the passing car.
