London Motor Museum Tour - Part 01: Favourite Cars
The London Motor Museum, situated in Hayes, Middlesex, houses a unique collection of cars. Performance Direct were lucky enough to spend the day touring around the museum so we could share some of these wonderful and important vehicles with you.
Part One: Our Favourite Cars
The first section of the tour around the London Motor Museum includes footage on the aircraft inspired Spyker c8 and the SSC Aero TT which has a 6.3litre V8 Twin Turbo engine producing 1147hp with a top speed of 260mph and a 0-60mph time of 2.64seconds. The Peterbilt Mega Pete Tron truck is always a favourite to see. Inspired by the films Transformers and Tron, this very special bright green Peterbilt truck tips it's hat to Optimus Prime. The hand crafted concept car known as The ETV - Extra Terrestrial Vehicle is one of the many curious motors to see too. We also loved the Ice Cream van reception desk and the 1934 Morgan Three Wheeler Super Sport in the Cafeteria area. Throw in some Sinclair C5's customised to look like Herbie, the General Lee, and the Batmobile and it's hard not to smile at this unique collection of vehicles. What is your favourite?

London Motor Museum Tour - Part 03: Film Cars & Batmobile
The London Motor Museum, situated in Hayes, Middlesex, houses a unique collection of cars. Performance Direct were lucky enough to spend the day touring around the museum so we could share some of these wonderful and important vehicles with you.
Part Three: Batmobile & Film Cars
The third section of the tour concentrates on the many film cars in the museum. We all love to get close to the metal work we've seen immortalised in our favourite films don't we. This part of the tour starts with a specially licensed working replica of the Batmobile (the Anton Furst Batmobile from the Tim Burton films) powered by a Chevrolet 350 Cubic Inch engine. George Barris had designed the original Batmobile from the 1960's TV series and the museum features one of the other original Barris Show Cars commissioned for the Bugaloos which was aired between 1970 and 1972.
More typically the museum features replica's of The Duke's of Hazzard's Dodge Charger, The General Lee, Starsky and Hutch's 1975 V8 powered Ford Gran Torino, Back to the Future's DeLorean DMC-12, a Volkswagen Beetle numbered 53 and called Herbie, KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand) 1982 Pontiac Trans Am from the TV series Knight Rider, and of course Mr Bean's green Mini which although it's a replica does feature the actual teddy from the TV series sitting inside. Can you spot any others?

London Motor Museum Tour - Part 05: Hotrods & American Cars
The London Motor Museum, situated in Hayes, Middlesex, houses a unique collection of cars. Performance Direct were lucky enough to spend the day touring around the museum so we could share some of these wonderful and important vehicles with you.
Part Five: Hotrods & American Cars
The fifth episode in our tour around the London Motor Museum features a look around the Hotrod and American Car sections of the museum. Starting with the Mooneyes 1932 Hot Rod & Kustom Supply Ford Model B Roadster which I have previously seen fired up at Autosport - it's really something to behold. The Studebaker Champion is a fascinating look at pre-1960's car design. The customised 1939 Lincoln Zephyr Roadster, valued at £250,000, looks like it should be in an art gallery instead of a museum. Amongst the Hot Rod and American Car sections some of the cars border on being unidentifiable. How many from this video can you name?

London Motor Museum Tour - Part 07: Custom Cars & TKO Total Kustom Organisation
The London Motor Museum, situated in Hayes, Middlesex, houses a unique collection of cars. Performance Direct were lucky enough to spend the day touring around the museum so we could share some of these wonderful and important vehicles with you.
Part Seven: Custom Cars and TKO (Total Kustom Organisation) Kustom cars
The seventh and final section of our tour around The London Motor Museum features some of the many custom cars and TKO (Total Kustom Organisation) Kustom cars. You can see how much time, thought and effort has gone into modifying and customising some of these incredible vehicles.
Starting with a de-arched Plymouth Prowler, before moving onto a VW Beetle Rat Rod and a Ford Pinto with more of it's engine on the outside than under the bonnet. The Presidential Limousine with bullet-proof glass has to be seen to be believed and sits in the same room as James Bond's boat. In the TKO room sits a mass of Kustom Cars including a modern Dodge Challenger SRT, a pin-striped heavily modified Mercedes CLS, a golden wrapped Aston Martin DB9, Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead and a Dodge Viper. There is more money's worth of cars than you can shake a stick at. What else can you name?
