Places You Wouldn't Want To Live in The U.K.
When most people imagine the United Kingdom, they think of London, wry humor and polite people. It might seem unthinkable that Great Britain has some real dung piles among its treasures but these 5 cities will have you wondering why there is a “Great” in front of “Britain”.
At number 5. Sandwell
The available jobs in this West Midlands town are so poorly paid that the average resident has zero disposable income. The good news for locals is that Sandwell has a pretty high mortality rate, so they don’t have to suffer for very long.
At Number 4. Gwent Valleys
No matter which metric you choose to measure Gwent Valleys scores poorly. Crime? Check. Poor healthcare? Check. A-hole teenagers all around? Oh yeah. In a country that’s filled with coastline and rolling hills, Gwent Valleys has none of that. It’s just the worst.
At Number 3. High Wycombe
Petty crime and drug use are present; as is a low employment rate. The little money High Wycombe does have it spends on the schools which is great. Of course, that doesn’t do the average tourist any good.
At Number 2. Southampton
Southampton is simply filled with half-destroyed buildings blotting the landscape. To be fair, the place was bombed in World War II. That is a pretty solid excuse, but on the other hand, they’ve had the better part of eighty years to get the place back in order …
And at number 1. Morecambe
In the 1930s, luminaries like Coco Chanel used to hang out in Morecambe These days, Morecambe is more known for its dilapidation. The coastline outside the city is stunning, but if you’re being completely honest, coasts aren’t exactly a point of pride, and neither is Morecambe.
Where do you think the worst place in Great Britain is?

England fans 'absolutely gutted' as Boks win Rugby World Cup
England fans in London were heartbroken after their side lost to South Africa 32-12 in the Rugby World Cup Final on Saturday (November 2).
English and South African supporters congregated in pubs and clubs in the city early on Saturday morning to watch the match on large screens.
England were second-best in every department and though South Africa were excellent, Eddie Jones's team were also the architects of their own downfall at times, playing fast and loose - and inaccurately - in the early stages and making a huge number of handling errors.
Disappointed England fans could only admit their side had been second best on the night while South Africans expressed their pride in Rassie Erasmus and his team.

STORYLINE:
Prince William opened Japan House in London on Thursday, where he accidentally asked children in the building's restaurant if they'd had much Chinese food, before swiftly apologising and correcting the gaffe to Japanese food.
During the hour-long tour accompanied by Japanese Deputy Prime Minister Taro Aso, William was shown how to make copper kettles, tried his hand at chopsticks, and sampled some sashimi.
He revealed to the delight of the chef of the 'Akira' restaurant in the building that he and his wife Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, love sushi.
In a speech, the Duke of Cambridge described Japan House London as a bridge for ideas and creativity to flow between the two countries.
The newly-renovated Japan House cost more than 17 million U.S. dollars and aims to create a deepened understanding of Japan, building interest in the country as Tokyo prepares to host the 2020 Olympics Games.
Japan will also host the Rugby World Cup in 2019.

RUGBY TOWN WALK ABOUT.
RUGBY TOWN WALK ABOUT. 2015 - 2017
A view of Rugby Town Hall on Evreux Way, Rugby, Warwickshire. Opened in 1961, it houses the offices of Rugby Borough Council.
Rugby is a market town in Warwickshire, England, close to the River Avon. The town had a population of 70,628 (2011 census) making it the second largest town in the county. The enclosing Borough of Rugby has a population of 1,000,500 (20116 census). It has grown a bit by the looks of these figures ! Where did they all come from ?
Rugby is 13 miles (21 km) east of Coventry, on the eastern edge of Warwickshire, near the borders with Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.
Early Iron age settlement existed in the Rugby area, and a few miles outside what is now Rugby, existed a Roman settlement known as Tripontium. Rugby was originally a small Anglo-Saxon farming settlement, and was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Rocheberie. Rugby obtained a charter to hold a market in 1255, and soon developed into a small country market town.
Rugby School was founded in 1567 with money left in the will of Lawrence Sheriff, a locally born grocer, who moved to London and earned his fortune. Rugby School was originally intended as a school for local boys, but over time became a mostly fee-paying private school. The Lawrence Sheriff School was eventually founded in the late 19th century to carry on Sheriff's original intentions.
Rugby remained a sleepy country market town until the 19th century and the coming of the railways. In 1838 the London and Birmingham Railway was constructed past it, and in 1840 the Midland Counties Railway made a junction with the London and Birmingham at Rugby. Rugby became an important railway junction, and the proliferation of rail yards and workshops attracted workers. Rugby's population grew from just 2,500 in 1835, to over 10,000 by the 1880s.
In the 1890s and 1900s heavy engineering industries began to set up in the town, and Rugby rapidly grew into a major industrial centre. Rugby expanded rapidly in the early decades of the 20th century as workers moved in. By the 1940s, the population of Rugby had grown to over 60,000.
In the postwar years, Rugby became well served by the motorway network, with the M1 and M6 merging close to the town.
The town is credited with being the birthplace of rugby football, rightly or wrongly.
