Long Bien Night Market - The largest agricultural night market in Hanoi
Long Bien Night Market is a typical part of the bustling life in the city. This is the wholesale place where people provide fruits and agricultural products to the people of the capital. When coming to Long Bien market, you will feel special things that nowhere else has. You can join yourself in the crowded market to buy and sell, choose for yourself the freshest items, or feel the poetic things yourself.
It is a great way to discover the normal life as well as specific cultural values of Hanoi and feel the hardship sellers are struggling to earn a living at the time they should have gone to bed.

About Us!
If you had told me a year ago that we were going to sell all of our stuff to start backpacking the world, I would have called you a liar. Decisions like the one we made start with an inflection point. A point where you realize that life can never be the same anymore. After a challenging, and painful year in 2017, we decided we needed to go out and live the life we wanted to live, instead of watching it on someone else’s YouTube Channel. We had given everything we had, physically and emotionally, for other’s dreams and were ready to work that hard for ourselves. From rock bottom, Chase for Adventure was born.
The Chase Begins
We moved in with our parents, sold everything we own including our cars, and paid off $70,000 worth of debt. We worked 70hrs/week over the last year trying to save up $15,000 to make our dreams come true. Now, we are travel journalists who showcase the beauty in different cultures and inspire others to chase their dreams through our YouTube Channel and website Chase for Adventure. We want to show others that if they want something bad enough, they’ll figure out how to get it; show people who are struggling that they can make the light at the end of their tunnel. Chase for Adventure is more than just a travel vlog and blog; it’s the chronicles of what it’s like to have a dream and do whatever it takes to attain it.

Entrance to one of Vietnam's largest wholesale fruit markets. Most of the deals will have been made around 2-3am, and one hour before sunrise, many of those leaving the market will continue their long days to sell on the produce.
Hanoi's Largest Indoor Market - Dong Xuan Market
It's surprising how Hanoi's largest indoor market feels so claustrophobic and small. Explore the market with us as we negotiate our way through and make small talk in Vietnamese.

Exploring the Dong Xuang market, which is the largest indoor market in Hanoi, was anxiety producing. lol There is so much wholesale shopping crammed into such a tiny space. We were able to find everything from souvenirs to clothing and shoe knock offs. If you were to ask where the best place to shop in Hanoi was, this wouldn't be on the top of my list but is defiantly a must see. This is especially true if you are staying in the old quarter or even just shopping in the old quarter.

Long Biên Bridge, Hanoi — Vietnam
On our recent travels to Vietnam we fell in love with the people, culture, streetscapes, food and sites of Hanoi as many do – one of them being the Long Bien Bridge, truly one of the sites you have to go and experience first hand while in Hanoi.
IG:
Slice of life Vietnam - Long Bien Bridge, Hanoi
Long Bien Bridge in Hanoi was one of Asia's great bridges when inaugurated by the French in 1901 at the height of empire building. During the Vietnam War, it was a key supply line, connecting Hanoi with the port city of Haiphong.
It was repeatedly bombed by US fighters and was bravely defended. Its war-time symbolism has made it a very Hanoian icon in modern times just as city officials are deliberating on its demolition or a major upgrade.
This video was shot in 2009 at an event held in preparation for Hanoi's 1000th anniversary celebrations in 2010.
The girls at the end are spruiking nuoc voi using rhyme and Vietnamese legend. Nuoc voi is a very Hanoian specialty tea.
VIETNAM’S LARGEST MARKET - Ben Thanh Market Ho Chi Minh City - Cheap Shopping in Vietnam
We visited Vietnam’s largest market, the Ben Thanh Market in Ho Chi Minh City! This is where you can find the best cheap shopping in Vietnam. Think fake bags, cheap clothing, Vietnamese food, and incredible souvenirs all located within the Bến Thành Market. We show you the day market and the night market in Vietnam so you can make the best decision of which to visit.
The Ben Thanh Market in Saigon is the one of the largest and oldest Vietnam Markets. With over 3,000 vendors, Bến Thành is one of the best things to do in Saigon. You can find some of the best cheap shopping in Vietnam here all for incredible prices. The quality of the goods in this market are great and haggling is a must while you’re here! If you want to relax and avoid the bargaining, you can stay to the fixed pricing sections along the outer walls of Ben Thanh.
As far as a fake market in Vietnam is concerned, I would say you can find the highest quality knockoff goods here for the best prices. There are many markets in Saigon, but Ben Thanh is the biggest and most centrally located out of all. It is also the market that is most geared towards tourists so make sure you bring your best bargaining skills.
Vietnams largest market, also referred to as Cho Ben Thanh, is located in district 1 Ho Chi Minh city. You can find everything you need in district 1 including food, drinks, Vietnamese culture and more. After visiting Ben Thanh Market, you might want to hang around district 1 Saigon and wait for the Ben Thanh night market to kick off around 8pm.
Cho Ben Thanh is easily the top night market in Vietnam, particularly in Ho Chi Minh City. We enjoyed the night market in Saigon a little bit better than the day market because there was space to move around. However, both markets sell very similar items. If you’re looking for things to do in Saigon, we highly recommend both the Ben Thanh Market and the Ben Thanh Night Market.
We have uploaded Vietnamese subtitles to this travel vlog for any of you who would like to read in Vietnamese. We hope to hear from you guys in the comments and thanks for watching our first Vietnam travel vlog!

Toàn Cảnh chợ Long Biên Hà Nội - Long Bien Market | Hanoi Travel | Hà Nội Phố

Đường Nguyễn Sơn, Long Biên - PHỐ HÀNG KHÔNG Hanoi Travel | Hà Nội Phố
Hà Nội Phố: Đường Nguyễn Sơn, Quận Long Biên, Hà Nội

Trains on the Long Bien Bridge Hanoi (Vietnam)
Long Bien Bridge (Vietnamese: Cầu Long Biên) is a historic cantilever bridge across the Red River that connects two parts of the city of Hanoi, Vietnam.
The bridge was built in 1903 by the French architects of Daydé & Pillé.
When it was built, it was one of the longest bridges in Asia with the length of 2,500 m. For the French colonial government, the construction was of strategic importance in securing control of northern Vietnam. From 1899 to 1902, more than 3,000 Vietnamese took part in the construction.
The Long Bien Bridge was heavily bombarded during Vietnam War due to its critical position (the only bridge at that time across the Red River and connect Hanoi to the main port Haiphong). The first attack took place in 1967.
The defence of Long Bien Bridge continues to play a large role in Hanoi's self-image and is often extolled in poetry and song.
Some parts of the original structure remain intact, while large sections have been built later to repair the holes. Only half of the bridge retains its original shape.
Trip Report: Long Bien Bridge, Hanoi, Vietnam.
this video is about the amazing historical Long Bien Bridge , it is long and good so aptly named. It goes across the red river to the west on Hanoi and was designed by the same architects that designed the Eiffel Tower. The bridge has sustained lots of damage in the vietnam war but is being slowly rebuilt. I found it quite sceary to walk across but worth it for the views and my trip to the island in the middle of the river.
