London-Birmingham: First time riding a train in the UK
London-Birmingham is a very common route of train in the UK. The train departs London Euston station and after several stops arrives at Birmingham New Street.
Virgin has the fastest trains, but we purchased our tickets with Chiltern, as they had better prices. The trip was about 1 hour longer, but the train was comfortable and had free wifi.
Birmingham is the first city we will visit in the UK. It will be featured in the next vlog.

Construction starts on new cinema for Daventry
Construction work has started at the site of Daventry’s new cinema development.
A giant drill will make more than 260 deep holes into the ground so that long, concrete columns can be installed as foundations for the cinema building.
The Council appointed construction firm Willmott Dixon to carry out the £12.5m transformation of the former library site off North Street, Daventry, into a new four-screen cinema complex, with restaurants, public square and splash fountains.
The development is expected to take around 18 months to complete, with the cinema - operated by Arc Cinema - set to open its doors in spring 2021.
EXPLORING A HUGE ABANDONED CARE HOME AND FACTORIES
(OPENED 1921 NOT 1889 AS MENTIONED ON INTRO CARD SORRY FOLKS)
We met up with a few friends to do a couple local Sunday explores! first we went to Hornsey rise care home to see what was left after last years fire and part demolition. The second spot was back to the Atherstone Hat factory from a few videos ago, a few of us hadnt been before so we thought we would pop in and film the spots we didnt get to last time like the roof. for more information on the hat factory please see our hat factory full explore video.
Hornsey rise care home information:
Originally built by the printers union in the late 1910s as a convalescent home but became a memorial home instead named after the National society of operative printer and assistants known as NATSOPA in memorial of printers that had fought and fallen in the Great War. NATSOPA memorial home opened in 1921 but changed its name during the 1970s to Hornsey Rise memorial home and became a care home for elderly christians. Towards the end of its time the plan consisted of a chapel, carer cottages both 1 and 3 bed sized, garden house, 3 main buildings that contained homes for residents/ admin offices and one that seemed to be more of a recreational building with larger hall like rooms. The name changed once more in its lifetime to Pilgrims friends society but remained a care home. The home closed its doors for good in 2012, unfornately since then vandals have smashed the place up , fires have broken out and part of the buildings have now been demolished. Quite a shock seeing it now compared to our first explores here when it was still whole but this places don’t last long.

S2. Ep 35 - Henley-on-Thames to Bray - River Thames Part 4
After a bit of a break in Greece we return back on the cut having had a small unrecorded jaunt down the Kennet and Avon to find a Marina. On our return we joined the Thames back at Reading and headed through Sonning and resumed filming on the way to Henley-on-Thames the historical home of the Henley regatta.
Of course we found the odd pub for lunch and took a walk around Henley its self.
In the next Episode we make the final part of the trip from Runnymeade back to the Grand union.

SUBSCRIBE: - Let's visit Cosgrove aqueduct which is a navigable cast iron trough navigable aqueduct that carries the Grand Union Canal over the River Great Ouse, on the borders between Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire at the northwest margin of Milton Keynes in England. The present structure was built in 1811, to replace a previous brick structure that had failed. When the present structure was erected, it was known as the Iron Trunk. The structure has two cast iron trough spans, with a single central masonry pier.

SUMMARY
=======
The history of Solidarity (Polish: Solidarność, pronounced [sɔliˈdarnɔɕt͡ɕ] (listen)), a Polish non-governmental trade union, began on August 14, 1980, at the Lenin Shipyards (now Gdańsk Shipyards) at its founding by Lech Wałęsa and others. In the early 1980s, it became the first independent labor union in a Soviet-bloc country. Solidarity gave rise to a broad, non-violent, anti-communist social movement that, at its height, claimed some 9.4 million members. It is considered to have contributed greatly to the fall of communism.
Poland's communist government attempted to destroy the union by instituting martial law in 1981, followed by several years of political repression, but in the end was forced into negotiation. The Roundtable Talks between the government and the Solidarity-led opposition resulted in semi-free elections in 1989. By the end of August 1989, a Solidarity-led coalition government had been formed, and, in December 1990, Wałęsa was elected president. This was soon followed by the dismantling of the communist governmental system and by Poland's transformation into a modern democratic state. Solidarity's early survival represented a break in the hard-line stance of the communist Polish United Workers' Party (PZPR), and was an unprecedented event; not only for the People's Republic of Poland—a satellite of the USSR ruled by a one-party communist regime—but for the whole of the Eastern bloc. Solidarity's example led to the spread of anti-communist ideas and movements throughout the Eastern Bloc, weakening communist governments. This process later culminated in the Revolutions of 1989.
In the 1990s, Solidarity's influence on Poland's political scene waned. A political arm of the Solidarity movement, Solidarity Electoral Action (AWS), was founded in 1996 and would win the Polish parliamentary elections in 1997, only to lose the subsequent 2001 elections. Thereafter, Solidarity had little influence as a political party, though it did become the largest trade union in Poland.

UK / Belgium / France - Brexit - Angry scenes as rival Brexit groups protest / May: 'Robust' but 'co
(29 Mar 2019) Protests escalated outside Britain's Houses of Parliament on January 29th 2019, as politicians started voting on proposed amendments on a deal to leave the European Union, hoping to end a long stalemate.
Dozens of protesters from both leave and remain camps exchanged chants and dialogue outside parliament.
Commons speaker John Bercow selected seven amendments to be voted on January 29th, including replacing the so-called Irish backstop, to prevent a hard border and extending the Brexit negotiation period.
The UK is due to leave the European Union on March 29th.
Prime Minister Theresa May urged British lawmakers January 29th to send the EU an emphatic message that they would not accept an Irish border guarantee in the withdrawal deal.
EU leaders have ruled out any renegotiation of the Brexit deal.
Labour Party lawmaker Yvette Cooper, who is behind one of the moves to rule out a no-deal Brexit, accused the government of squandering valuable time.
***
British Prime Minister Theresa May vowed that she will deliver the UK departure from the European Union on time following another session of talks with EU leaders.
Despite fundamental differences over whether the draft withdrawal agreement May negotiated with the EU should be changed to address strong objections by British lawmakers, May pledged to achieve an orderly withdrawal by the March 29th deadline.
May said February 7th in Brussels: It is not going to be easy.
I'll be negotiating hard in the coming days to do just that, she said. I am clear that I am going to deliver Brexit. I am going to deliver it on time.
She was speaking after what she called robust but constructive talks with EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, and said they have agreed to hold more negotiations that could push the sealing of any deal to within a month of Britain's scheduled departure.
The two leaders agreed to meet for more talks before the end of February to take stock of these discussions, a joint statement said.
Two years ago, May set Brexit day as March 29th and originally plans were to have a deal in place six months ahead of time.
May also referred to comments by European Council President Donald Tusk, who exacerbated the frosty climate on February 6th by wondering aloud what special place in hell might be reserved for those who backed Brexit with no idea of how to deliver it.
I've raised with President Tusk the language that he used yesterday which was not helpful and caused widespread dismay in the United Kingdom, she said.
The point I made to him is that we should both be working to ensure that we can deliver a close relationship between the United Kingdom and the European Union in the future. And that's what he should be focusing on.
***
EU Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier said on March 13th the impasse in Brexit negotiations can only be solved in the UK.
Barnier spoke to reporters in Strasbourg as he arrived for a meeting of the European Parliament's Brexit steering committee.
UK Members of Parliament on March 12th rejected Prime Minister Theresa May's revised Brexit deal 391-242.
The stinging 149-vote defeat stripped away May's control over the course of Brexit and handed it to the UK Parliament, which is divided about what to do next.
The EU, which had warned there would be no more changes or negotiations if Parliament threw out the deal, expressed exasperation at yet another Brexit crisis.

Venice Beach - Topher Mohr and Alex Elena:
Tuckton Library toilets, Bournemouth HL Shires Lynx
I wasn't aware there was a library in Tuckton until recently and after seeing a pic of a decent looking old building I decided to head out there to investigate.
The building is from 1908 and is the same age as other Bournemouth libraries but in a different style which makes me think this was but by another council that got taken over by Bournemouth.
The toilet consists of a Howsons ceramic wash basin and the toilet has a HL Shires Lynx with a very powerful flush and I liked it so much I filmed it twice.
At the end of the video I show the toilets along the main road which I filmed either last year or earlier this year, not very old toilets and already closed due to maintenance which shows that the Shires which is around 50 years old has lasted much longer than the daft unisex.
Rating: 10/10
