I took this video in a restaurant on bar street in a tourist-ridden area of an ancient mountain village in Li Jiang, Yunnan province, China. The dancing girls are wearing ethnic minority garb and dancing to some crazy loud modern pop, and for some reason there's a picture of Che on the wall. What's that about? It's all kinda incongruous and mildly ticklish.

松赞林寺 (Songzanlin Si).

Songzanlin Monastery is the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple complex in Yunnan Province. It is called the Little Potala Palace. In 1993, it was listed as a Key Provincial Protection Unit of Cultural Relics by the government of Yunnan Province.Construction of the monastery began in 1679 and was completed two years later. The monastery seems like a group of ancient castles and is composed of two lamaseries, Zhacang and Jikang.
