Best of Calgary 2016 - Best Place for Comedy - Loose Moose Theatre
All music generously donated by Windigo as another step in their lofty journey to become the worlds kindest band. All members agreed to giving this music away to Best of Calgary, we think, we couldn't quite tell if Mitch agreed or was just mumbling about pizza.

Andrew Phung swings by Kensington Studio to talk with me about his crazy-amazing journey so far–from first being introduced to Loose Moose Theatre, to his incredible non-profit work, balancing family life, his award winning performances on CBC Kim's Convenience—Andrew is making his mark on the world.
This episode has it all: insight into where his hustle comes from, his passion for the arts community, nude scenes on the big screen, and making the move across the country to Toronto from Calgary.
HOST NOTE: The picture used in this episode is one of about 100 pictures Andrew took of himself in the Green Room of The Loose Moose Theatre Company when I accidentally left my phone unattended during a show we were in. Over 100 pictures of Andrew. 100! Don't leave your phone lying around when Andrew is in the house.

MAESTRO IMPRO ELIMINATION | Stage By Day 006
In this episode of Stage By Day, I teach an improv class at the University of Calgary Improv Club. The key lesson I tried to teach, which is a lesson I could learn more myself, is to use less words and to be okay with silence. Afterward, I head over to the Loose Moose Theatre to perform in Maestro Impro.

Introduction to BrandJitsu
Find, Shape, and Share Your Story
Every year in Canada 95,000 businesses start and 85,000 businesses disappear — the top five reasons for failure are cited as:
1. Lack of Planning,
2. Leadership Failure,
3. Lack of Focus (No Differentiation),
4. Ignoring Customer Needs, and
5. Poor Management.
Understanding BrandJitsu™ enables you how to find, shape, and share your unique story and gives you a strategy to address and mediate the “Top Five Reasons for Failure” and give you an excellent chance of success.
Brand is the DNA of your business—your reason for being—rippling through your entire organization informing how you act, react, and engage with everyone from customers to employees, and it all centres around your story.
“How do I find it? Does it take a lot of time, money, effort? What if I don’t have a story?”
Based on the seminal work of Keith Johnstone (Godfather of Improvisational Theatre) and 20-plus years in the trenches helping businesses communicate, BrandJitsu™ is a methodology anyone can use to quickly and effectively shape and share their brand, so everyone gets it. This will not just help you stand out from your competitors but rise far above being seen as a commodity and selling on price.
This is for Solopreneurs, Entrepreneurs, Small- to Medium-Sized Businesses.
