Sa Morakot Ancient Site Situated in Wat Morakot, Tambon Kok Thai, these are gigantic Buddhist historical sites. The most fascinating attraction is the country's largest and oldest Lord Buddha Footprints, which were carved on natural laterite ground. There is also the Wheel of Dhamma in the middle of both soles. These footprints date back to between the 13th and 15th centuries B.E. Near the footprints, a number of Buddha images and artefacts were discovered in a sacred well. Moreover, there is Sa Morakot, which is a rectangular pool. It is assumed that this pool was dug as a reservoir. In this area, there is also Sa Bua La and the exhibition centre for the Mueang Si Mahosot ancient site. Travelling: Use Highway No. 319 (Prachin Buri-Phanom Sarakam route) for about 23 kilometres, then turn left for 500 metres.
