The Making of Tucker's Triumph
Uphill and down Dale…with a few thrills (and spills) along the way.
Ahead of the 2014 Tour de France visit to Yorkshire, Timothy Taylor’s Brewery in Keighley commissioned a film to celebrate the Peloton passing by the Brewery and a number of its pubs. “Tucker’s Triumph” focuses on an unlikely cycling story framed by stunning Yorkshire backdrops, a visit to the Knowle Spring Brewery and…… just a little bit of local humour.
As you’d expect, Yorkshire threw every kind of weather at the production team…
yet it still provided the perfect backdrop to the storyline.
But Yorkshire wasn’t the only star. Some local cycling talent…
aided and abetted by the latest hi-tech wizardry helped capture the drama.
But after an exceptional day’s filming what better way to bring down the curtain, than the rewarding taste of a perfect pint of Timothy Taylor’s Landlord...
Town Hall Tavern, Leeds - Timothy Taylor Managed Pub
Town Hall Tavern, brought to you by Timothy Taylor, is an eclectic gastropub in Leeds city centre serving fresh, locally sourced British food, quality cocktails, fine wines and traditional cask ales, with excellent Yorkshire hospitality.
The pub is a historic Leeds venue, dating back to 1926 that re-launched in May 2011. Traditionally, it was used by solicitors and policemen who would sit on one side of the pub preparing for their cases, with the accused making the most of what could have been their last moments of freedom, drinking on the other side.
Situated between the courts and the Park Square Business District, with free wi-fi, Town Hall Tavern is the perfect choice to relax with fine gastrofood and drinks in Leeds, whether its a business lunch or a night of celebrations in the city. The Town Hall Tavern team look forward to welcoming you soon.

Keighley, Haworth, Heptonstall, Hebden Bridge
One day's adventure through the West Yorkshire towns of Keighley, Haworth, Heptonstall, and Hebden Bridge, including a visit to the Bronte Parsonage and a bus ride through the moors between Haworth and Heptonstall. Music is by Siobhan Fahey and is called The Suppressed Trilogy. I thought it was interesting to juxtapose a modern British poet against the Bronte sister poets of yore.
