Get lost together: Couple's road trip beyond Yellowstone National Park
Most of us have heard Montana referred to as Big Sky Country—now you know why. Full of adventure, geographic diversity, and views so beautiful they look fake, this is the perfect place to take a romantic road trip.
Between the river kayaking, fly fishing, horseback riding, sculpture parks, high mountain passes, and live music, you’ll never be looking for something to do—it practically finds you, waiting around every highway turn. Go get lost beyond the park.

Day Hike to Lost Twin Lakes in the Cloud Peak Wilderness, Bighorn National Forest, Wyoming
July of 2015 our family does one of our best day hikes ever!
We take on the Lost Twin Lakes Trail in the Cloud Peak Wilderness of the Bighorn National Forest. This is a 12 mile return trip and we climb 1,270 ft from the trail head to the Lost Twin Lakes at 10,520 ft above sea level.
This is a spectacular location. The only other folks on the trail that day were the Assistant State Archaeologist and her friend who were camping out at the lakes and investigating flint knapping sites. A little learning about Cody points for the kids!
The girls had just turned 9 and 12 that summer and this was a very serious hike for them. We worked our way up to longer distances in the week before by hiking one day and resting the next. Longer and longer hikes each time. The last mile was a bit tough in the twilight with tired legs. Everyone slept well that night.
Seriously beautiful hike!

Family Vacation to Yellowstone Day 8 - Hike to Trout Lake, Lamar Valley, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone
We started out the very busy day with a hike to Trout Lake! If you are near the NE entrance of Yellowstone this is an absolute must! It's a fairly easy hike and the end result is simply breathtaking. We then stopped in Lamar Valley and enjoyed seeing the herds of Bison in their element. We finished the most part of the day at the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. While this can be a crowded area it is well worth elbowing your way through! I would recommend going later in the afternoon (after 2pm) for a chance at parking. Hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching!! :)

Lone Star Geyser Trail, Yellowstone National Park
The Lone Star Geyser is said to be the second largest geyser in Yellowstone Park. It is located on the road between Grant Village and Old Faithful Inn. The trail in 5 miles round trip. Bicycles are allowed on the trail. The geyser erupts about every three hours. At the trail head other hikers post the last time that it erupted. The trail follows the Firehole River along an old access road. Another feature located just at the trail head is the Kepler Cascades.
Ep. 108: Wind River Mountains | Green River Lakes Wyoming RV travel camping
The Green River Lakes, tucked into Wyoming's spectacular Wind River Mountains, are the headwaters of the mighty Green River. In this episode of Grand Adventure we boondock in this very remote, stunningly beautiful and surprisingly underutilized corner of Wyoming for some free dispersed camping and kayaking beneath towering granite peaks.

ABOUT US
Welcome to Grand Adventure, a YouTube channel that focuses on RV-centric outdoor activities including not only of course camping, but also mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing and more, nearly always filmed in stunning 4K.
We're based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and invite you to come along as we travel all around the western U.S. My wife Patricia and I, and our dogs Zoe and Maggie are avid boondockers, so you'll seldom find us in RV parks or even dry campgrounds. Instead, we're usually camped in some of the most remote and beautiful spots that you could ever pull a travel trailer into. And unlike most other RV channels on YouTube, we're not RV dealers or full-timers -- we're weekend warriors just like you!
We'll provide tips and insight on equipping and maintaining your RV, trip planning and travel videos to make your next adventure a grand one indeed! So, subscribe to make sure that you catch every episode, and remember...life is nothing but a Grand Adventure!

RV Travel Life | Hermitage Point (Grand Teton National Park) & John Lost in the Woods
John discovered how easy it is to misread a trail head. Hermitage Point is a 9.2 mile hike if you complete the full loop, however the trail head marker said 4.0 miles. He barely had any light left by the time he got home. Along the way he saw some of the most beautiful views in the world.
----------------------------------------------
▶About Us: John is a 3x Combat Veteran (Army), Laura was a Veterinary Technician, in 2016 they downsized and sold nearly everything they owned and moved into a 5th Wheel (Cedar Creek), bought a dually and left their former lives behind for travel and adventures. Their rig went back to the factory in 2017, helped film a movie were cast in the movie RV Nomads, and wrote a book called #RVLife: Seeking Happiness Through A Nomadic Life. #RVLife is the first in a series written about their journey to freedom by bucking societal norms and living their own adventures.
