Yongsan station is a major railway station in Seoul, South Korea. It is located in Yongsan District, and adjoins the Yongsan Electronics Market. The station is the terminus for high-speed and long-distance trains on a number of railway lines, including most trains on the Honam Line, its high-speed counterpart, and all trains on the Janghang and Jeolla Lines.
Prior to 2004, all long-distance trains serving Seoul terminated at the nearby Seoul Station, but with the opening of the Korea Train Express (KTX), Yongsan Station took over some of Seoul's services.
On February 28, 2012, ITX trains began service between this station and Chuncheon Station on the Gyeongchun Line.
Yongsan Station is also served by metro rail on Line 1 and the Jungang Line on the Seoul Metropolitan Subway.
In 2004, a major cinema opened adjacent to the station. In August 2006, the whole station building was made into a large department store, called I'Park Mall. The building now includes the railway station, subway station, the CGV cinema and several restaurants and shops, as well as housing the first building of the Yongsan Electronics Market. There is a bridge connecting I'Park Mall and the Yongsan Electronics Market. On floors B-1 and B-2 there is a very large E-Mart store along with a food court and a Burger King restaurant. In the higher floors some of the restaurants include: Uno Chicago Grill, KFC, Lotteria, California Pizza Kitchen, Pizza Hut, and many Korean and Japanese restaurants. You can also find Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, and Baskin Robbins. A duty-free store operated by HDC Shilla opened its doors in 2016, and the entire I'Park Mall underwent a major expansion in 2017.
The station is scheduled to become a transfer station with the Shinbundang Line in 2025. Once the Shinbundang Station becomes operational, Yongsan Station will become connected with Sinyongsan Station on Line 4.

COEX Mall in Seoul, South Korea
The video I took when I visited the COEX Mall in Seoul, South Korea in November 2011. COEX Mall is an underground shopping mall located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It is Asia's largest underground shopping mall with an area of about 85,000 square meters. The mall is located at Samseong-dong served by Samseong Station on Seoul Metro Line 2, at the intersection of Teheranno and Yeongdong Dae-ro. Along with hundreds of shops, the mall houses two food courts, a 16-screen multi-cinema complex, an aquarium attraction, a large bookstore, and the Kimchi Field Museum. There are also stages inside and outside the mall for seasonal events and public appearances by celebrities. The COEX Mall is adjacent to the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center, which is also part of the South Korean World Trade Center complex.

Children's toy district in Dongdaemun - ???????? SEOUL WALK
Many toy shops occupy this area in a part of Dongdaemun. I've been to toy stores like Kaybee Toys or Toys-R-Us, but never a neighborhood dedicated to toys. That's why I love Seoul... there are areas that specialize in one type of thing. It's so interesting and strange at the same time. If you ever get a chance, you should walk around these streets of Seoul and see how one block can be all about camping gear and the next is all about toys. Very surreal.
Thank you for watching!
Directions to this toy street:
Go to Dongdaemun Station, Exit 4.
Walk straight from the exit a few hundred meters, and you'll see the narrow toy-filled street on your righthand side.

Moji Customs launched in 1909. This building was built in 1912, and until the early Showa it had been used as a Customs Building. In 1993, the building has been restored using custom-made red bricks ordered by Kitakyushu City. Currently it is used as a rest and observation facility.
