County Clare man James Lynch will attempt to swim the length of Lough Derg, from Portumna to Killaloe, on Saturday 21st June.

Garryurra - The Dromineer Bay House

Muck Off is a new cross country challenge taking place on a scenic 150 acre parkland estate just outside Nenagh in North Tipperary, taking place on Sunday August 4th 2013.

The Willie Slattery Memorial Cup Cycle Race 2018
Was held in Golden Co Tipperary, on Sunday the 15th July.
The winner was Eoin O’Connell of Blarney Cycling Club and second place was Dermot Radford of the Tipp Wheelers.
The race was organised by the Tipp Wheelers Cycling Club.
The Willie Slattery Memorial Cup Cycle Race 2018, along with two other races took place on Sunday the 15th July.
The race was organised by the Tipp Wheelers Cycling and Triathlon Club.
The circuit was, starting in Golden heading to Newinn, Cashel and back to Golden a distance of 25 Km, there were 4 laps giving a total distance of 100 km.
The meeting venue was the GAA’s Golden / Kilfeacle Club House in Golden that has many facilities.
The Weather was rain after 8 weeks without any rain.
Teams from all over the country participated. In total they were 120 number of riders.
The winner was Eoin O’Connel of Blarney Cycling Club and second place was Dermot Radford of the Tipp wheelers.
