Loughor, Wales Trip | Day Vlog
Watch in 1080p. We visted the Moriah Chapel in Loughor, Wales
Then to Swansea to check out the beach- those waters were amazing to watch. And then saw a lighthouse on our way back to London.
It was, for me, quite a last minute journey to tag along with my family. But I'll admit, it was an informative tour; learning about Evan Roberts and the Welsh Revival in 1904, for more info:
PS: I love the Welsh accent :D and the Severn Bridge!

Places to see in ( Swansea - UK ) Gower Peninsula
Gower or the Gower Peninsula is a peninsula in the south of Wales, projecting westwards into the Bristol Channel. Gower Peninsula is the most westerly part of the county of Glamorgan, however it is currently administered as part of the unitary authority of Swansea. In 1956, Gower became the first area in the United Kingdom to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
About 70 square miles (180 km2) in area, Gower is known for its coastline, popular with walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, especially surfers. Gower has many caves, including Paviland Cave and Minchin Hole Cave. The peninsula is bounded by the Loughor Estuary to the north and Swansea Bay to the east. Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty covers 188 km², including most of the peninsula west of Crofty, Three Crosses, Upper Killay, Blackpill and Bishopston. The highest point of Gower is The Beacon at Rhossili Down at 193 metres (633 ft) overlooking Rhossili Bay. Pwll Du and the Bishopton Valley form a statutory Local Nature Reserve.
The interior of Gower consists mainly of farmland and common land. The population resides mainly in villages and small communities, though suburban development has made a number of communities in eastern Gower part of the Swansea Urban Area. The southern coast consists of a series of small, rocky or sandy bays, such as Langland and Three Cliffs, and larger beaches such as Port Eynon, Rhossili and Oxwich Bay. The north of the peninsula has fewer beaches, and is home to the cockle-beds of Penclawdd.
( Swansea - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Swansea . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Swansea - UK

Loughor, South Wales
God works in mysterious ways!
I had written Martin in London OTRB and asked him if he knew of any place where I could get away for a spiritual retreat for a couple of days while in England. He sent me to Loughor in southern Wales.
Loughor is the town where God poured out His Spirit in 1904-1905. Over 100,000 souls were radically saved all over Wales. He used a 27 year old man by the name of Evan Roberts. He lived in a small house on the edge of town and attended the Calvinistic Methodist Chapel.
One night, in his bedroom he was awakened by the Holy Spirit at 1:00 am. For three hours he had communion with God, as though face to face. This happened every night for over three months.
Within a few weeks Evan was baptized in the Holy Spirit and Revival broke out in the chapel he attended. People started coming from all over and services would last eight hours. Within months over 50,000 people were saved. At the end of two years- 100,000.
The house where Roberts grew up and had his visitations from God still stands and 6 years ago the owners opened up a Bed and Breakfast. I am staying in what used to be Evan's room.
I was informed to get an appointment so someone could open the church. Presently there are only 15 members, the youngest being 53. They told me that it just happened that they had a once-a-month prayer meeting that night. So I arrived at 6:33 and an old Welsh Gentlemen showed me the church, the grave of Roberts and then took me into the Chapel where it all started.
They were to have the prayer meeting in the Chapel. Nothing has changed; same old wooden pews, wooden floors. Thirteen elderly people showed up for the prayer meeting. They came from different churches in the area. They were so excited to have a visitor!! I was treated with special honor. When they found out what I did, the old pastor asked if I would share 5 minutes.
We sang a few hymns and I was asked to share. An amazing feeling came over me as I stood in that chapel where Evan Roberts stood 108 years earlier. I looked out over a remnant of intercessors and encouraged them to pray for revival. I told them God was on the move awakening his Church and that the Spirit can revive again.
The two pastors came to me immediately and had me sit in a chair. They placed their hands on my head and prayed for me and our ministry. They prayed for greater anointing and a move of the Spirit. Then they asked me to pray for them. I did.
I sat down in the old pew trembling. How my heart ached for a fresh revival- could it be? Then they began to pray for the Jew around the world. These old intercessors knew God. They asked me to pray again. Then they stood and dedicated a song to me; the old revival song made famous in the 1904 revival.

Passport And Visas Requirements To Enter The UK
Please note: Following the recent referendum vote for the UK to leave the European Union (EU), there are currently no changes in the way people travel to Britain. The following guidelines still apply:
If you're planning an adventure to the UK, depending on your nationality and your reason for visiting, you may need to organise a visa.
If you're an American, Canadian or Australian tourist, you'll be able to travel visa-free throughout the UK, providing you have a valid passport and your reason for visiting meets the immigration rules (link is external).
Citizens from some South American and Caribbean countries as well as Japan are also able to travel visa-free around the UK.
European Union citizens, non-EU member states of the EEA (Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland), Switzerland, and members of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) do not need a visa to enter the UK.
If you have any further visa questions visit the official UK government website.
You can dial 999 to reach either the police, fire and ambulance departments.

Loughor Bridge (Then & Now)....27/03/2013
All of the old railway bridge at Loughor has been now been removed, leaving a big gap between the river banks, so this upload looks at some still images of the bridge taken in 1982, with class 37's crossing with Milford Haven to Swansea services, and more recent images of GWR Castle 5029 Nunney Castle, and a HST .
Unusually, I also had the opportunity to capture one of the spoil trains getting prepared for its return to Crewe with Freightliners 70004 leading and 70010 & 66561 at the rear today. They are seen at Duffryn, which is the Western most part of the re-doubling project
OTTERS ON THE RIVER LOUGHOR.
My mate was out fishing on the River Loughor and filmed these Otters at play on his phone. He wanted these uploaded for all to see.

Sat for ages totally relaxed waiting for Dusk just watching the Sheep on the Saltmarsh and the views across the Estuary.
In between I went to the KING ARTHUR public house in Reynoldston for a succulent Lamb Burger.
Met and chatted to some really nice People on the outdoor benches and a couple named John and Joyce who said I should try Llanmadoc Churchyard as it goes back to Viking Days. Took a quick Day look. Met another nice couple outside. He asked to join in Fair Play. Get in touch. Went back after Castle took a couple of Night shots to see if worth going back and doing proper. Yep sure is.
Would have stayed but I was waking the Neighbours that time of Night.
Many Thanks JJs Will Dedicate it to you both on my return visit there. Cant wait.
I intend to do most of the Ancient Graveyards in the Gower and the many other great sites as long as I don't disturb anyone.
