Lourdata or Lourdas is one of the beast and certainly one of the longest beach in Kefalonia. Lourdata beach is located about 20 km south of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. It is easy reachable by car from Argostoli or Scala or any other village in this region.
The beach is surrounded by a green landscape with thick vegetation and beautiful waterfalls running through the mountains. The combination of the crystalline waters and stunning mountain backdrop of Mount Aenos provides a dream scenery that captivates all visitors. The beach is covered with white sand.
It is not unusual to see sea turtles ( in this beach.
