POINT CARTWRIGHT The Clubies PART 1
27 02 2016 .Saturday. A medium size ground swell arrives on the Sunshine Coast.
Cyclone Winston's arrival was felt in in corners of the Sunshine Coast. Where to park was the issue. Onlookers everywhere!...
This Video is not just about capturing Massive Waves (which really didn't happen) but a view through my eyes...the people of the coast the lifestyle and our beautiful pocket on this Planet Earth, Mother Earth...and what happened on this Media Hyped Event...
Over the last 5 days I've been filming the lead up to it and it will be a project in the making, as now I have a massive amount of footage to sift through. ?
This Is PART 1 of many!....
A Large amount of water moving, Point Cartwright had trouble holding the unsettled torrent of ocean......Only the larger Surf Craft (Goat Boats) were able to cope in being able to tap into it...But there were a few die hard local surfers (Warriors) that indulged and you might say Conquered. Even though conditions weren't favourable...

Surfer's Paradise - Gold Coast - Sunshine Coast - Moreton Island - Brisbane - Queensland - Australia
#SurfersParadise #GoldCoast - #SunshineCoast - Brisbane - Queensland - Australia.

Opening of the new Wreck Point Scenic Lookout in Yeppoon
IT’S been a project over 30 years in the making, but the highly anticipated unveiling of the iconic Wreck Point Scenic Lookout upgrade became an exciting reality over the weekend.
The stunning location in Cooee Bay was identified by the Yeppoon Lions Club as an opportunity to visually enhance as far back as 1982, when they first proposed building a lookout at Wreck Point.
Fast-forward to February 2017 and the start of works for a contemporary viewing deck were welcomed with the Queensland Government contributing $190,000 in funding under its Scenic Lookout Upgrade Program to the project with Yeppoon Lions contributing $90,000 and Livingstone Shire Council $134,000.
The upgrade was part of a $3.2 million Queensland Government program to spruce up scenic lookouts throughout the state.
