Quill ft Bev Bevan - California Man : Ludlow Assembly Rooms 17th February 2018
The first gig featuring the 'new' line-up of Quill at Ludlow Assembly Rooms. Here they are performing The Moves classic song 'California Man'.
Quill now features Joy Strachan Brain on vocals, Bev Bevan on percussion and drums, Andy Edwards on drums and percussion, Matt Worley on bass, Kate McWilliam on violin, plus the return of Phil Bates on lead guitar and vocals. Phil was one of the original members of the band back in 1972, and he also returned in the early 1980's where he met his future wife Jo who was in the band at the time, and she has also now returned to the line-up.

Red Riding Hood Panto visit Ludlow School!
It was an unusual Friday for pupils at Ludlow Junior School when they were visited by Granny Knott, Squire Bullymore and The Wolf from the forthcoming Appletree panto 'Red Riding Hood'. A STEAM Co Day at Ludlow Junior School September 2016 V1
A short video where Nick Corston, Co-founder of STEAM Co. goes back to help run a STEAM CO. Day at Ludlow Junior School, which he attended the year it was opened in 1972.
It was a very special day, with Nick's mu and dad in the front row for a very special assembly where Nick told how his dad had come across 'Rocket Boys' by Homer Hickam.
A story of aspiration, invention and family, he said was the best.book he'd ever read.
It was great to see the local community come together to help run the day. large number of parents - Local firms like engineering firm McConnel, Barclays and Tesco.
Nick was particularly pleased to connect with a couple of fellow Shropshire Lads. Baron Martin Rees - the Royal Astronomer and Lor dof Ludlow and anothe rhwo loaned Nick a Tesla Roadter for the day.
