Kali ini anda bersama saya di Muzium Kota Lukut, Negeri Sembilan. Terdapat banyak peristiwa menarik yang berlaku pada zaman kegemilangan dan zaman kejatuhan Kota lukut ini.
Kota Lukut dibina pada tahun 1847 oleh Raja Jumaat ibni Raja Jaafar. Kota ini terletak di atas Bukit Gajah Mati atau disebut Bukit Raja. Masalah politik dan kegawatan ekonomi menghakis kemasyhuran Kota Lukut dan menjadi padang jarak padang tekukur. Pada zaman kegemilangannya, Lukut dikenali dengan perlombongan bijih timah.

Kota Dan Muzium Lukut
Muzium Lukut secara rasminya telah dibuka kepada orang ramai pada 9 April 1999 oleh Menteri Besar Negeri Sembilan ketika itu iaitu Tan Sri Isa Abdul Samad. Objektif kewujudan muzium ini ialah sebagai tanggungjawab bagi memulihara warisan sejarah negara dan memaparkan sejarah Lukut dari kurun ke-19 hingga 1880 iaitu sehingga Lukut dimasukkan ke dalam daerah Sungai Ujong, Negeri Sembilan.
