Visited Lulu island winery 2014 and tasted icewine in Richmond Canada
I visited Lulu island winery and vineyard in Richmond Canada in 2014, and tasted icewine. Icewine is a wine made from grapes that are left on the vines until late December early January, would normally be harvested in September. By leaving the grapes on the vines for an extra 3 months, the grapes on the vines continue to ripen so much that the acidity of the grapes decreases and the sugar content continues to concentrate.

2014年夏参观列治文市 鹿岛酒庄冰酒, 酒庄安排了华语服务人员为大家介绍, 并给大家试饮三种冰酒及一种莓子酒。冰酒算是葡萄酒的一种。冰酒葡萄采收温度约为摄氏零下8度，且完全以人工采摘，将结冰的水分去除，再以葡萄糖的那一小部份酿造，因此十分耗费人力。通常葡萄酒的葡萄会在九月收获。冰酒葡萄留在藤蔓上额外3个月，在藤蔓上的葡萄继续成熟，以至于葡萄的酸度降低，含糖量继续集中。直到十二月底一月初才采收。鹿岛酒庄冰酒

China's Ambassador to Canada says the jailing of two Canadian winery owners being held over an alleged customs crime 「should not be politicized.」
Shaye Lu told CTV's Power Play on Friday that John Chang and Lan-Fed (Allison) Lu have been imprisoned for 「a simple commercial smuggling issue」 and he criticized the media attention.
「Now this case is already coming into a judicial process,」 Lu added. 「Let the courts do their work and we can wait for the results of the trial.」
The owners of Lulu Island Winery in Richmond, B.C. were arrested in Shanghai in March 2016 while visiting suppliers and agents, and accused of under-reporting the value of wine they export to China.
Chang has been jailed since then, while Lu was released in January on the condition she not leave China. Her Canadian passport was confiscated and she must report regularly to authorities.

加拿大冰酒
冰酒是加拿大经典美酒，喝起来极为甘甜浓郁，酿制冰酒的葡萄品种分为三种，分别是白葡萄维代尔品种，红葡萄品丽珠品种和红葡萄赤霞珠品种。并就只能在冬天通过手工采收而且必须在凌晨气温低于零下8度采收在没有暖气环境下进行压榨。当他们陈年之后会发展出更为妙与复杂的味道，冰酒在远东地区的价格有时相当于加拿大的3倍以上。
