Monterosso al Mare is a town and comune in the province of La Spezia, part of the region of Liguria (northern Italy). It is one of the five villages in Cinque Terre. The town is divided into two distinct parts: the old town and the new town. The two areas are divided by a single tunnel that caters to pedestrians and the very few cars in the town. The beach at Monterosso runs along most of the coast line and is well used by tourists and locals. The beach is the only extensive sand beach in the Cinque Terre. Monterosso is a small town that in the summer months is overrun by tourists. The village was briefly excluded from the Cinque Terre trail in 1948, but was re-introduced in mid-1949. The train network reaches the other villages of Cinque Terre as well, while the road network is absolutely not practical.

One of these houses is the Casa Garibalda, with its characteristic white and gray stripes, the object of a careful restoration completed in recent years. It is one of the most significant palaces of the ancient Rapallo area, also classified as a national monument. In the façade the coat of arms of the admiral Biagio Assereto indicates its dating to the fourteenth century, while the porticoed houses behind it must be considered more ancient.

We stayed 3 Days from february 20 to february 22 2019 in Camogli Liguria Italy. That was part of our 4 weeks tour through italy, spain, france and belgium.
Hotel was the cenobio dei Dogi where we spent 3 nights in a Deluxe Room with breakfast an free parking and free internet.

Camogli is a fishing village and tourist resort located on the west side of the peninsula of Portofino, on the Golfo Paradiso in the Riviera di Levante, in the Metropolitan City of Genoa, Liguria, northern Italy. As of 30 April 2017 its population was of 5,332. Camogli is one of the largest areas of the Parco Naturale Regionale di Portofino, and a part of the Portofino Marine Protected Area.

We touched down in the Italian Riviera for a couple of days of exploring Rapallo, the Cinque Terre, and Santa Margherita Ligure!
