The Luodong Farm Cultural Exchange Visitor Factory, ( also known as the Loton Farmers Association, is well-known for their organic soya milk and preserved century eggs. It is situated near the train station in Luodong Township and is equipped with a tourist information centre, an exhibition hall, a production line tour, and a restaurant. It makes a great stop for family activities, and gives many a chance to get their hands dirty and prepare their own traditional delicacies.
Visitors can have the DIY experience of making own tofu, dolls painting and candles painting. So for all you DIY fans out there, don't forget to give this place a visit!

想要體驗簡單的宜蘭生活美學，可以走一趟羅東文化工場。建築特殊、充滿設計感，為了不擋到四周的視線，在一座大棚架下，將天空藝廊吊起來，文化市集趴下去，使中段的空間空了出來，將一切留給公共大眾。因過去繁榮的林業歷史，羅東有種獨特的空間氛圍，像是鋸木廠、儲木池、成堆排放的木材，羅東文化工場的各種空間安排、材料質感，都呼應了這些特徵。這裡不僅是一個藝文展演的設施，也是一個與在地居民生活結合的場域。

Kaohsiung is a steel city, therefore I use steel to create art because I was born in Kaohsiung, the industrial capital.
Most may not like the smell of a shipyard, but I like it, so, it is destined that I do what I do now.
During the construction of the southern railway, I was in Taitung and loved rocks.
I studied rock sculpture for 10 years. To make a living, I also learned how to farm. During that time, I still could not forget about steel, therefore my earlier works had to do with farming and gardening.
In order to promote the steel culture, I spent 10 years touring college campuses.
Art should not be something difficult to understand for it will be difficult for those who dont understand to participate.
I would first create a theme, leading people into my world of art.
Later I also developed the motorcycle parts series.

She wraps up the visit with some snacks made out of edible paper, and a deeper appreciation of paper-making.

Heels 2 Wheels: Taiwan - Flying Cow Ranch [Part 1] (Episode 6)
In this episode, Joanne-Marie sets off from Beipu and heads to Miaoli in search of the famed flying cows!
The name of this 120-hectare ranch, Flying Cow is derived from the combination of its two primary inhabitants; butterflies and cows. So, much to the disappointment of our host, no flying cows were to be found here.
However, various milk products like milk flavoured ice-cream, milk pudding, milk biscuits, milk candy, etc were in abundance and our team had a ball of a time trying it all out. All these products are produced on the farm, the milk coming straight from the cows. Freshness guaranteed!
Other than stuffing your faces, there are loads of other things to do. One can find oneself in nature, just by strolling through this serene environment, or get up close and personal with the various animals on the ranch. Ducks, goats, cows, rabbits, you name it. Being somewhat higher up in the mountains, the weather is lovely, and if you allow the crisp, cool breeze to run through your hair, you might, yes, you just might find a moment of bliss.

Su Ao is a small, quaint town in Yilan County. Famous for seafood and cold springs, this rather small place doesn't seem to be frequented by western tourists. Su Ao Cold Spring has a spring water temperature of 22 °C.It is both bathable and drinkable, and has a pH of 5.5. Watch our host Joanne-Marie Sim take a dive, and a sip!

Heels 2 Wheels: Taiwan - Black Dwarf Cave and Fish Villa on Little Liu Qiu Island (Episode 17)
In this episode, we explore the mysterious Black Dwarf Cave and learn about the origin of its name, which came about as a result of a clash between the Dutch and indigenous people in the past. Our accommodation on the Xiao Liu Qiu island was at Fish Villa, which was previously part of a fishing village and has the closest proximity to the sea and sandy beaches amongst all the beachfront properties.
There are a total of 12 room options, ranging from cozy rooms for 2 to spacious ones that can sleep up to 10 guests. Most of the rooms offer superb sea views, and five of these actually have bathrooms that offer a view of the ocean as you shower. There is even a VIP floor with rooms that have their own independent sea-facing balconies.

We continue our tour of Green Island and make a stop at the Zhaori Hot Springs, which is heated by the volcanic lava of Green Island, and one of only three saltwater hot springs in the world along with the springs on Kyushu Island of Japan and Sicily in Italy. Zhaori boasts some of the best spots to enjoy the sunrise and watch the stars while soaking and relaxing in the therapeutic warm water.
Lastly we stop by the famous Brother Story Store to pick up souvenirs of a different kind. Specially made and designed in-house, these cute souvenirs can't be purchased anywhere else in the world. Also, it's adorable iconic character, Brother, has loads of funny statements to make about Taiwan's latest headlines, making a gift that will be remembered!
