This mall was jointly developed by Phoenix Mills Limited and Crest ventures Ltd. Phoenix Mall Chennai is part of a development which includes a premium residential space as part of Phase I. Phase II development includes a luxury mall called Palladium and residential space.
Phoenix mall features an 11-screen multiplex and also Chennai's first IMAX screen.

This mall is also among the biggest mall in India and is located at 142, Velachery Main Road, Near Gurunanak College, Velachery, Chennai. This is the largest mall in Chennai.

The palazzo cinemas are the main part of the forum mall. The theater gave a majestic feel and experience. It is the best place to visit in Chennai for the weekend. ஒரு வருடத்திற்குள் மத்திய அரசு மக்களுக்கு நல்லது செய்யாவிடில் 2019 ம் நாடாளுமன்ற தேர்தலில் நல்லது செய்பவர்களுக்கு மட்டுமே ஆட்சி வருவார்கள் என்றும் அதற்காக வரும் 2019 ம் தேர்தலில் இளைஞர்களுடன் தீவிரமாக ஈடுபடுவேன் என தெரிவித்தார். கர்நாடகாவில் காலா படம் வெளிவருவதற்கு குறித்து முதல்வர் குமாரசாமியை சந்திக்க சென்று கொண்டு இருப்பதாகவும் வரும் வியாழகிழமை வரும் கால அவகாசம் இருப்பதனால் அதற்குள் கர்நாடக அரசிடம் எடுத்துரைத்து கடைசி வரை போராடுவேன் என தெரிவித்தார் . கர்நாடக முதல்வரை சந்தித்த பின் பேசிய கமலின் கருத்து, பொது இடங்களில் கருத்து கூறும்போது கவன குறைவாக பேசி இருக்க கூடாது கருத்துகள் செல்லும் போது கவனமாக பேசி இருக்க வேண்டும் என தெரிவித்தார்.
