MASSIVE World Record Size Hammerhead Shark Caught Fishing with Greg Norman
In this episode of BlacktipH, Greg Norman and I catch a massive hammerhead shark that was bigger in overall length than the current world record. I was flying my drone and found a monster hammerhead shark chasing a blacktip shark, trying to eat it. We hooked a blacktip shark and moments later, a massive hammerhead shark swam by the boat and proceeded to eat the blacktip shark that we hooked. I managed to capture the entire feeding behavior with my drone! Greg fought the shark for nearly an hour with heavy tackle. The size of this shark was massive, larger than we imagined! The overall length of the shark was 175 inches (14ft and 7 inches), literary the largest hammerhead shark I've ever seen! Myself, Greg and Ryan decided to jump in the water with the shark before the release. This was such an incredible experience! Greg caught and released one of the largest hammerhead sharks ever on rod and reel!

Bampton Fair (1955)
Bampton, Devonshire.
L/S of a man boarding up a house window. Cut to L/S of a busy street where several men are seen unloading a van full of leather horse saddles and stirrups. C/U high angle shot of the line of stirrups on the street. Sign on the van reads G. Phillips & Sons. Several shots of the market stalls on the street and people browsing around.
Cut to a L/S of a truck unloading ponies and crowd watching. Ponies are the main reason as well as the central event of this gathering. Bampton fair is the annual pony fair. An average of 250 ponies are sold each year at the fair mainly for riding.
M/S of the ponies getting off the truck. L/S of the ponies being herded into a pen. C/U shot of the ponies' heads. L/S of the people gathering around ponies watching them. M/S of a man ringing bell - an auction is about to start.
L/S of auctioneer's stall and the crowd. Ponies are being paraded in front of the crowd and bid for. The sign above the auctioneer's stall reads no cheques accepted. Most of the people in the crowd are men.
Although beautiful, ponies do not look presentable. Most of them look scruffy, unhappy and confused. The scenes of the crowd around the pen are claustrophobic and uncomfortable to watch. Men parade the ponies by using long sticks. Still, the voiceover keeps repeating that ponies have a fierce temper!
Note: The film calls for a change of social attitude towards animals. Scenes filmed in 1955 are not at all exclusive nowadays - very disturbing.

Devon Rails: the Heathfield Branch log train scenario part 1
Though currently suspended, log trains ran from Chirk in North Wales to the Heathfield branch at Newton Abbot until quite recently. They involved several run rounds, consist splitting and reforming, and an overnight stay for the loco at Newton Abbot.
We've created part one and part two scenarios for the log train in Devon Rails. Each is over two hours long, and gets as close to the original operational arrangements as TS2017 will allow. This video is from the part 1 scenario, which begins at Tiverton Junction.
The train travels to Newton Abbot along the sea wall and then up the branch - the video shows scenes from the 15 mph branch. It stops at Heathfield, where the loco runs round the train before taking it back to the log loading area near Teigngrace. The consist has to be split because of the small size of the loading area and a level crossing. The loco is stabled at Newton Abbot while the first wagons are loaded. In part 2 (the next day) the loco returns and rejoins the consist. The second half of the wagons are loaded, the brakes are tested, and the train returns to North Wales via another run round at Newton Abbot and some waits in loops and sidings for faster trains to pass.
The log train scenarios will be included in Devon Rails v3.0, which will be released in the near future. DR 3 will feature a number of route improvements and bug fixes, together with the Marsh Barton Scrap Metal Train and a number of other challenging new scenarios.
Sorry about the rubbish editing. I'm still getting used to the software.
Train Simulator 2019 GWR HST Farewell Railtour Exeter St David’s-Plymouth
To mark the end of HST services on the Great Western Mainline, I’m doing a farewell railtour along the riviera line down to the Dawlish coast, Newton Abbot and then to Plymouth. Once again, I’am thinking about retaining the HSTs for nostalgia purposes even if I had to set the scenarios in different time periods. Also, I’ve not seen an HST in Intercity livery in years but I remember them in the Intercity swallow livery with Virgin Cross Country back in the late 1990s.

SUMMARY
=======
The history of slavery spans many cultures, nationalities, and religions from ancient times to the present day. However the social, economic, and legal positions of slaves were vastly different in different systems of slavery in different times and places.Slavery appears in the Mesopotamian Code of Hammurabi (c. 1860 BC), which refers to it as an established institution.Slavery is rare among hunter-gatherer populations, because it is developed as a system of social stratification. Slavery was known in the very first civilizations such as Sumer in Mesopotamia which dates back as far as 3500 BC. The Byzantine–Ottoman wars and the Ottoman wars in Europe resulted in the taking of large numbers of Christian slaves. Slavery became common within much of Europe during the Dark Ages and it continued into the Middle Ages. The Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese, British, Arabs and a number of West African kingdoms played a prominent role in the Atlantic slave trade, especially after 1600. David P. Forsythe wrote: The fact remained that at the beginning of the nineteenth century an estimated three-quarters of all people alive were trapped in bondage against their will either in some form of slavery or serfdom. The Republic of Dubrovnik was the first European country to ban the slave trade in 1416, and in modern times Denmark-Norway in 1802.
Although slavery is no longer legal anywhere in the world (with the exception of penal labour), human trafficking remains an international problem and an estimated 25-40 million people are enslaved today, the majority in Asia. During the 1983–2005 Second Sudanese Civil War people were taken into slavery. Evidence emerged in the late 1990s of systematic child slavery and trafficking on cacao plantations in West Africa; see the chocolate and slavery article. Slavery continues into the 21st-century. Although slavery in Mauritania was criminalized in August 2007, in Mauritania it is estimated that up to 600,000 men, women and children, or 20% of the population, are currently enslaved, many of them used as bonded labor. Slavery in 21st-century Islamism continues, and women and children have been abducted and enslaved (often as sex slaves) by Islamist quasi-states such as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and Boko Haram.

SUMMARY
=======
The Territory of Christmas Island is an Australian external territory comprising the island of the same name. Christmas Island is located in the Indian Ocean, around 350 kilometres (220 mi) south of Java and Sumatra and around 1,550 kilometres (960 mi) north-west of the closest point on the Australian mainland. It has an area of 135 square kilometres (52 sq mi).
Christmas Island had a population of 1,843 residents as of 2016, the majority of whom live in settlements on the northern tip of the island. The main settlement is Flying Fish Cove. Around two-thirds of the island's population is estimated to have Malaysian Chinese origin (though just 21.2% of the population declared a Chinese ancestry in 2016), with significant numbers of Malays and European Australians as well as smaller numbers of Malaysian Indians and Eurasians. Several languages are in use, including English, Malay, and various Chinese dialects. Islam and Buddhism are major religions on the island, though a vast majority of the population does not declare a formal religious affiliation and may be involved in ethnic Chinese religion.
The first European to sight the island was Richard Rowe of the Thomas in 1615. The island was later named on Christmas Day (25 December) 1643 by Captain William Mynors, but only settled in the late 19th century. Its geographic isolation and history of minimal human disturbance has led to a high level of endemism among its flora and fauna, which is of interest to scientists and naturalists. The majority (63 percent) of the island is included in the Christmas Island National Park, which features several areas of primary monsoonal forest. Phosphate, deposited originally as guano, has been mined on the island since 1899.
