Tri-Rail Gets You Where You Want to Go
Driving around in a big city can be stressful – unless you're lucky enough to live in a place like South Florida, where commuting is made easy through Tri-Rail.
The train system, which runs 72 miles across South Florida, includes 18 stations, linking Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach. Tri-Rail helps thousands of people get where they want (and need!) to go, whether that be to the office or to one of South Florida's many destinations, including museums, parks, shopping malls, and airports. Plus, trains include onboard tables, power outlets, and free wifi, making each ride convenient and productive.
As the fifth largest urbanized area in the United States and one of the fastest growing regions in the nation, there are more than five million residents here and counting. With the creation of Tri-Rail and the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA), South Florida’s three counties work together to ensure a viable regional transportation system.

Flamingo Parking Lot Doors at MIA
I love the automatic doors at MIA because they remind me of the doors I saw at Kmart when I was a very young child in the early '90s. These doors are opened when someone steps on the mat with the front-facing arrow.
