Vlog #11- Muji Pens!

Hello again!

LOL My coworker took me to a cheap nearby Korean restaurant and it was uh, alright. Like a chinese version of korean food haha. I miss Haroo in richmond!! Plus, the beef here tastes weird. Like everywhere I go, the beef is tough and not really tasty.

We went to East Lake! We ate and walked around the hotel :)
(we'll be going to East Lake next week as well with the students! not the hotel though, a diff camping ground)

Vlog #21- I'm in Toronto!

Hi!

I have good wifi here tonight so I whipped up a quick vlog for you guys!

This time I've finally started the summer part of my job, which is going on a summer camp as a chaperone with a class of kids from the school I'm working at, in Ningbo, China! I've found myself to be in a translator/liaison sort of position LOL.

(my mandarin is definitely improving, yay!)

Anyways, the CN tower was nice :) DT Toronto is quite busy and filled with people. I wish I had more time there!

Canada's Wonderland is also worth going to! Although I'm not much of a ride person, I enjoy water rides haha (even though I got soaked!). I played in the water park as well, but didn't get any footage :( LOTS of people as well haha

It's definitely nice being Canadian and actually going to different provinces to explore Canada!

Vlog #6- Walmart & Scary Stairs

Hi there!

I tried my first taste of japanese food in Ningbo and it is...so so. Vancity has it WAY BETTER. The mall I was at is the one right beside my school, called Wanda Plaza. It actually doesn't have a food court, just ALOT of restaurants.

Yeah, the good thing about living on the 6th floor is that there are supposedly less bugs and less humidity but it's too bad that the staircase is not lit!!! It's pretty freaky walking up the stairs at night :( esp. since it gets dark pretty early...like 6:30-7pm.
