Video Transcript
You know that stinking hypocrite Obama is frequently seen is churches? Have you seen him creeping Jesus with his hands together praying? Did you see Christianity on his sleeve? Did you know that he used to attend churches in Chicago and sing along all happy clapping for Jesus and for God?
Obama, the Syrian Christian town of Maaloula is on fire this evening. This evening, its ancient Christian churches are on fire. Its priests and its parishioners are being butchered by Al Qaeda, paid by you. Churches in which the language of Jesus Himself is still spoken. The last churches in the world still speaking Aramaic. The language of Jesus are now on fire. The faithful Christians fleeing for their lives and being murdered by Al Qaeda paid for by you, and you are about to become their air force. You are a disgusting hypocrite Obama. You are a liar when you say you are a Christian. You care nothing about Christians. You care nothing about God. You don't believe in the Prophets (peace be upon them), you just believe in the profits and how to get bigger piece of them from the people that backed you.
...Or you that disgusting hypocrite Obama happy clapping in Christian churches in the United States. Remember this, that the Christians in Syria are being murdered and massacred by Al Qaeda paid for and armed by Britain and the United States, and France, and the other hypocrites, so called Christian leadership in the world.
May God Preserve Maaloula. May God Save as many Christians as can be saved from the infernal which has been launched against them. It's a beautiful village. I've been there. The monastery there is one of the most serene places on the Earth. Actually, the best place in the Arab world to be a Christian is Syria, but these hypocrites in the so called Christian-west don't give a toss about that.
As I said, their leaders care nothing about the Prophets (peace be upon them), but everything is about the profits and how to get a bigger piece of them.
Maaloula - one of Syria's most ancient Christian villages
Maaloula is a beautiful little village nestled in the hills north of Damascus, or, at least, it was beautiful until the rebels invaded in October 2014, beheading and kidnapping, looting and pillaging.
The people of Maaloula though are as as beautiful as ever, and the town is gradually being rebuilt.
May God strengthen them and protect these good people from another encounter with the men carrying the black flag.

Maaloula !

#4 - Splendour of Maalula
Maalula! This small Syrian village, where the SOS Chrétiens d’Orient adventure began, beloved by all who know it, because of its purely Syrian soul.
In the street, inhabitants chat above the humming of motorcycles, when it is not the Angelus prayer that falls from the shining heights on the numerous churches’ cupolas in the village, long ago a step on the road to Jerusalem. The wind from the desert carries the perfumes of grapes, sumac and apricot, all grown by everyone here.

Syria, President Bashar al-Assad visited Maaloula town - Easter 2014
Noticias de Siria, 20/4/2014 ~ From Maaloula, President al-Assad asserts that Syria's human landmarks will remain steadfast in the face of those who target the homeland
On the occasion of Easter, and from the heart of Maaloula town in Damascus countryside, President Bashar al-Assad wished a blessed Easter for all Syrians.
During his visit to Maaloula town, President al-Assad visited the Monastery of Saints Sergius and Bacchus and inspected the damage and destruction caused to the monastery by terrorists.
President al-Assad said that the acts of the terrorist groups indicate their identity and the identity of those who support them, giving a clear image of their barbarism as they target people and stone alike.
In Safir Maaloula Hotel, which terrorists had once seized and used as headquarters and base to commit their crimes against locals, President al-Assad met members of the Syrian Arab Army and national defense forces, saluting them and those who rose to defend the homeland from terrorists.
He asserted that Syria's steadfastness and the armed forces' success in restoring security and stability to towns in which terrorists had been running amok could not have been possible if it wasn't for the state of solidarity between the country's people, both civilians and military personnel, not could it have been achieved without the people's support for the army.
After passing the Eastern mountain pass, President al-Assad visited St. Thecla Monastery which was also vandalized deliberately by terrorists, with the President asserting that no one, no matter the scale of the terrorism they employ, can erase Syria's human and cultural history.
Maaloula will remain, along with other human landmarks, steadfast in the face of the barbarianism and obscurantism of all those who are targeting the homeland, and they will remain a monument to the civilization of Syrians, while history will mark that what this town and other historic locations in Syria went through is proof the takfiri and obscurantist mentality of the aggressors he said.
Passing through Ein al-Tineh village on his way back from Maaloula, a number of locals gathered around President al-Assad, asserting that they stand alongside the homeland in the face of all that targets it.
The President lauded the national defense forces in the village who stood alongside the armed forces in defense of their village and neighboring area, asserting that the honorable position of the people of Ein al-Tineh is an example of the Syrian society which rallies together if a section of it is threatened.
President al-Assad that terrorists failed to incite dissent in the Syrian society no matter how many times they try, adding the village of Ein al-Tineh is one of many examples of this, as it rose to defend Maaloula.

Christians and muslims preserving ARAMAIC in Maaloula (Syria)
Maaloula and the importance of Aramaic language and culture to the history of Syria.
In the following clip a documentary, a community in a Syrian village is mentioned. The inhabitants are 50% Muslim and 50% Christian and they all speak Aramaic, though the Muslims are superior in its understanding and preservation.
Malula — Aramaic for “entrance” — derives its name from a legend that evokes the town’s separate religious heritage. St. Takla, a beautiful Aramean young woman who had studied with St. Paul, is said to have fled from her home in what is now Turkey after her pagan parents persecuted her for her newfound Christian faith. Arriving in Malula, she found her path blocked by a mountain. She prayed, and the rocks divided in two, a stream flowing out from under her feet.
