Island of Mull, Scotland.
Couple explore remote Berg Head, off West Coast of Scotland. Various shots of them arriving by sea in motor boat. Various shots of them admiring odd rock formations (like Giants' Causeway). They look at fossilised tree stump, the imprints of the trees branches can still be seen in the cliff face. Narrator tells us the area has been taken over by the National Trust.

Bitesize Ben - Ben Nevis in miniature?
When you climb Ben More via the shapely but steep ridge from A'Chioch, its enormous summit plateau comes as something of a surprise. A bit like climbing Ben Nevis via the Carn Mor Dearg arête. Add to that an imposingly vertical north face and you have Ben Nevis in miniature.
Fossil Hunters: Revealing fossils

In this film, scientists involved in the project investigate the fossil finds.
Fossil Hunters runs at the National Museum of Scotland from 19 February - 14 August 2016. Find out more at

NEOLITHIC MULL
The third of Stu Westfield's 'journeys into the stone age' is set on the Isle of Mull. Through a investigative process he pieces together clues from geology and living nature to show an environment where Mesolithic hunter gatherers would have thrived. And a Neolithic culture of cosmology which continued into the Bronze Age.
Blethering Ben - 61 - An introduction to Iona
A bit more blethering than usual in this one, and with good reason, as Iona has a lot of history and interest packed into such a small area. Anyway, I paid my first visit to the island recently and headed up Dun I, the highest point on the island, to give an overview of this beautiful place and its history.
