ABC was always in our to do list. This year being our 10th year together, we decided to capture the moments in the Himalayas. Have done plenty of treks before but this has been the best experience with highs and lows with memories to last a lifetime. The moment we started the hike we were mesmerized by the natural beauty of Nepal. It got better as we climbed higher and the urge to explore Nepal has become stronger. Nepal is truly blessed and beautiful.
Day 1 - PKR to Siwai on Jeep/Car, Trek from Siwai to Chomrong
Day 2 - Chomrong to Himalaya (Acclimatization)
Day 3 - Himalaya to ABC
Day 4 - ABC to Chomrong (Early start as it will be a long day)
Day 5 - Chomrong to Jhindu Hot Springs then Siwai to catch bus to PKR (that last bus leaves around 1530 hrs)
It's best to stay at MBC one day for aclimatization, if you don't feel well (altitude sickness). The most important thing is to hydrate yourself really well during your trek.

Machhapuchhre Himal view from Pokhara, Nepal
Koche Nepal Presents :-
Machhapuchhre Himal view from Pokhara
Post Production:- Koche Multimedia Pvt. Ltd.
Machhapuchhre ( 'fishtail'), is a mountain in the Annapurna Himalayas of north central Nepal. It is revered by the local population as particularly sacred to the god Shiva, and hence is off limits to climbing.
Location:
Machapuchare is at the end of a long spur ridge, coming south out of the main backbone of the Annapurna Himalayas, which forms the eastern boundary of the Annapurna Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is a favorite trekking destination, and the site of the base camps for the South Face of Annapurna and for numerous smaller objectives. The peak is about 25 km (16 mi) north of Pokhara, the main town of the region.
Notable features:
Due to its southern position in the range, and the particularly low terrain that lies south of the Annapurna Himalayas, Machapuchare commands tremendous vertical relief in a short horizontal distance. This, combined with its steep, pointed profile, make it a particularly striking peak, despite a lower elevation than some of its neighbors. Its double summit resembles the tail of a fish, hence the name meaning fish's tail in Nepalese. It is also nicknamed the Matterhorn of Nepal.
Climbing history:
Machapuchare has never been climbed to its summit. The only attempt was in 1957 by a British team led by Lieutenant Colonel Jimmy Roberts. Climbers Wilfrid Noyce and A. D. M. Cox climbed to within 150 m (492 ft) of the summit via the north ridge, to an approximate altitude of 22,793 ft (6,947 m). They did not complete the ascent, as they had promised not to set foot on the actual summit.[1] Since then, the mountain has been declared sacred, and is now closed to climbers.

Mardi Himal Trek | Nepal's Hidden GEM
Nepal 360 presents Mardi Himal Trek (Trekking in Nepal) during the month of March, 2017.
Shot on GoPro HERO 4 stabilized with Zhiyun Tech Rider M Gimbal.
Watch Cinematic version here:
Mardi Himal Trek is located east of one of the most popular treks of Nepal, the Annapurna Base Camp trek, the Mardi Himal trek is a hidden gem. The trail goes along small winding paths, through enchanted rhododendron forests until you climb out of the forest at an elevation around 3,300 meter. The landscape changes quite abruptly into a rugged high mountain landscape, with amazing views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.
The 5 Days Mardi Himal Trek Trek starts with a day ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara. We begin the walk from Dhampus (1600 mts). We head upward to Forest Camp (2550 mts), Low Camp (2900 mts) and High Camp (3580 mts). From High Camp you can hike all the way up to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500 mts). There are few treks where landscape dramatically changes from magical forests into a rugged high mountain landscape, with amazing views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. We had a fantastic and a very memorable trekking experience :)
Shot in UHD resolution on a GoPro Hero 4 Black camera it's aimed to deliver the most realistic experience.

The High Pass: Trekking the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal
The Annapurna Circuit is a trek in central Nepal that climbs to an altitude of 5,400m through Thorung La pass, one of the highest trekking passes in the world, below peaks that rise 6000-8000m in elevation from the Annapurna Range. We attempted to complete the trek in about 15 days starting mid-December of 2013, when the shoulder season promised much smaller crowds but with it a risk of deep snow that early winter can bring to the Pass.

Mardi Himal Trek, Annapurna region Nepal
The Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek is a recently-opened pristine trail in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The trail was walked only by shepherds and cattle before 2012. Trekkers follow the ridge above the Modi Khola river draining Annapurna Base Camp. The trail at first winds through dense rhododendron and maple forests rich in bird life. The clearings in the forests offer magnificent view of the Annapurna range.
The trail soon climbs above the tree line, offering undisturbed view of snow-covered peaks, including the most spectacular Mt. Fishtial. The changing colors of the peaks at sunset and sunrise appear heavenly. Eventually you will be rewarded with a view of Annapurna I (8,091 meters, 10th highest in the world) and other peaks seen from Annapurna base camp.
On day one, after breakfast, drive 40 to Kande to begin the trek. Day two heads to the forest camp at 2,700 meters. The trek branches off from the main trail towards Annapurna base camp. The forest camp has three teahouses in the middle of the forest. On day three, head to Badal Danda camp, at 3,300 meters. This offers undisturbed views of snow peaks and sweeping valleys. On day four, trek to High Camp at 3,600 meters - on this day the vegetation is mainly grass, allowing unbroken views of the range.
Day five is the toughest of all, with an altitude gain of almost 1,000 meters. Mount Fishtial and Mardi Himal appear closer. You will also see Annapurna III and Annapurna I at a distance. On the way back, go further to Badal Danda for the overnight stay. Day six is a trek back to Deurali, and on day seven you will trek down to Dhampus Phedi for the drive back to Pokhara.

Annapurna Circuit Trek in the Himalaya of Nepal - Wanderbird.nl
A 2,5 week trek around the Annapurna range in Nepal. We walked more than 200 kilometer from Besisahar to Jomson.
A beautiful trek with stunning views of the Himalaya. Sometimes, especially around Thorung La Pass, it is a very though trek, but it's doable for real adventurers.
Take your time, walk slowly and take your rest when needed. At one point, you will reach the top of the Annapurna Circuit Trek too.

Machapuchare माछापुच्छ्रे Nepal 1080P
Machapuchare, , meaning fishtail, and in Tamu language, it's called कतासुँ क्लिको, is a mountain in the Annapurna Himalayas of north-central Nepal. Its highest peak has never been officially climbed, due to the impossibility of gaining a permit to do so from the Nepalese government. Machapuchare is at the end of a long spur ridge, coming south out of the main backbone of the Annapurna Himalayas, which forms the eastern boundary of the Annapurna Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is a favorite trekking destination and the site of the base camps for the South Face of Annapurna and for numerous smaller objectives. The peak is about 25 km (16 mi) north of Pokhara, the main town of the region. Due to its southern position in the range, and the particularly low terrain that lies south of the Annapurna Himalayas, Machapuchare commands tremendous vertical relief in a short horizontal distance. This, combined with its steep, pointed profile, makes it a particularly striking peak, despite a lower elevation than some of its neighbors. Its double summit resembles the tail of a fish, hence the name meaning fish's tail in Nepalese. It is also nicknamed the Matterhorn of Nepal. It is believed that Machapuchare has never been climbed to its summit. The only confirmed attempt was in 1957 by a British team led by Lieutenant Colonel Jimmy Roberts. Climbers Wilfrid Noyce and A. D. M. Cox climbed to within 150 m (492 ft) of the summit via the north ridge, to an approximate altitude of 22,793 ft (6,947 m). They did not complete the ascent, as they had promised the then king to not to set foot on the actual summit. Since then, no permits to climb the mountain have been issued. The mountain is said to be sacred, but in what form, or to whom, is somewhat unclear. There have been reports that a New Zealand climber, Bill Denz, made a successful, illegal summit attempt in the 1980s. #Machapuchare #Machhapuchhre #Machhapuchchhre
Mardi Himal Trek in 8 Minutes
A poorly put together video of our eight-day trek in the Annapurna region, on what is now a much more popular route. Over the course of the trip, there were spectacular views of the Annapurna Range, most notably of the tapering Machhapuchhre or Fishtail (6,993m), the peaks of Annapurna South (7,219m), Hiun Chuli (6,441m) and the bulk of Annapurna II (7,937m). Incredible Nepal.
EDIT: The second time it reads “Ghandruk” it is meant to read “Landruk” instead.
