Riding in the Mad River Valley | Tucker Hill Trails | Waitsfield, Vermont
We had a little left in the tank on the last day of our Vermont trip and headed to the Tucker Hill trails in the Camels Hump State Forest - Howe Block. This network is one of my favorites and has some great classic Vermont singletrack. We were lazy and shuttled to the Tucker Hill Road lot and did a quick loop which ended us at the Lareau Farm. I can't recommend this area enough both for the trails and the area.

Almost There: The Mad River Valley
An unscripted film about the community we call Vermont's Mad River Valley. We like to say 'they come for the mountains, but they stay for the valley.' In this video you will see local farmers, business people, tourists, barns, markets, craft beer, music festivals, skiing, kayaking, running, biking, swimming, golfing and more. Basically everything that steers our community toward the relaxing and enjoyable place it is. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy living, working and playing here in the Mad River Valley.

Waitsfield is a small town in Vermont, with LOTS of restaurants, local artists, and a ski area. It’s on RT 100 which was awarded the most scenic route in the United States just a few years ago.
Notable spots to eat are Blue Stone and The Mad Taco. There are other places of note in the video.
The Mad River Glen pass is breathtaking and certainly worth the drive, and you go right by the ski resort while driving over it. This is one of MANY beautiful places worth visiting in Vermont.
