Madan Kamdev is situated 40 Kms. away from Guwahati, Assam in India, the gateway of North-East and 3 Kms. from Baihata Chariali on National Highway 52

Welcome to my channel once again , this time I visited the Madan Kamdev temple, which is a beautiful archaeological site and historical monument of assam, situated near Baihata Chariali . A lengthy vlog but still i think its not a boring vlog though.

This place dates back to the 9th and 10th century AD. Excavation and ruins here shows the prosperity and might of Pala dynasty of Kamrupa.
The ruins of Madan Kamdev are scattered widely in a secluded place, covering 500 meters. Uma Maheshwar's embraced idols, carved on the stones of medieval temples, can be seen here. The most prominent statues are of the Sun, Ganesha, and Vidyadhara
