Iceland Escape Proven Here
This strange land is littered with awe-inspiring trails hidden among huge glaciers and ragged peaks blanketed with lush vibrant fauna. The primordial terrain carved into the landscape and the chaotic weather made it an ideal setting for us to shred the Yeti SB4.5c.

Hiking Esja mountain - Reykjavik, Iceland
Mt. Esja is located in Kjalarnes, past the town of Mosfellsbaer just east of Reykjavík. It is accessible by bus, you have to go off at the Hiking Centre Esjustofa.
Last month I went on a hike. I thought it's gonna be an easy one since I've been on Esja before and I already knew what is all about. Little I knew I was wrong.
What I thought it's gonna be a 4 hours hike, ended up in being a 9 hours one. We went about 20 km and I pushed the limits, the relatives and all the friends of my limits to maximum.
Everything hurt, and I gave up so many times just to pull myself together and keep going. It was not easy, and I was not happy with myself half of a time, but in the end everything was meant for me to understand the limit is only in my brain (and I can finally see clearly: it was all worth it).

ICELAND EPISODE 3: THORS BATH TUB
Man, we sure can get a lot done with all this daylight! Located in the North-Atlantic ocean close by the Arctic Circle, Iceland is daylight all 24hrs a day in the summer. I've never felt so awake and charged up to do so much in one day.
Wake up with Spartan Strong and get going. We spent our morning in Thor's Power Gym. If you aren't familiar with Iceland's Strongest Man, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson was cast as The Mountain in the last three season of Game of Thrones. He is by far the biggest person I have ever seen in my life.
For lunch we kicked things off American's Style burgers and fries. OFF the Keto plan finally and loving it. We made our way to downtown Reykjavik for the Iceland Strongman festivities.
No such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing In Iceland you always have to BE PREPARED for rain and even hail storms. We packed our rain gear everyday so we weren't slowed down a bit.
Finally we watched Thor break record as he carried the 419lb Husafell stone and become Iceland's Strongest Man. We had a blast and he invited us back to his place for dinner and a soak in his ICE BATH. They say hopping between hot and cold tubs is great for recovery. It was really freaking cold.

Northern Lights tour in Iceland - by Happyworld (music by Between Mountains)
Northern Lights & Stargazing in small groups in modified Land Rover Defenders.
Our groups are truly small, only 7 guests max per guide and vehicle. Each Northern Lights hunting team is maximum 2 vehicles togehter. We stay away from the crowds as much as possible to make sure you have the best experience possible.
We take photos of everyone under the lights, we bring a telescope to explore stars, planets and constellations. We also serve home made real hot chocolate, made from scratch each day by one of 2 company owners.
Happyworld is a small family business employing new and old friends. With our group you will feel like a part of that group of friends.
The awesome music is, with permission, by Icelandic band Between Mountains. And the song is aptly called Into the Dark.

Check out their MTB trip into the Wilds of Africa:
Kyle Jameson and crew head over to Iceland in search of fresh lines, rugged terrain, and epic downhill mountain biking. They found all three and more, and brought home this footage as proof. This, is freeride mountain biking at its core. Enjoy.

Despite its tiny population, Iceland has a reputation in the World's Strongest Man competition that stands higher than perhaps any other country's. This small, black rock in the middle of the ocean has produced a lineage of strongmen dating back to the Vikings.
VICE went out there to investigate why this tiny island produces such strong people. Hanging out at Jakabol—a gym run by ex-champion Magnus Ver Magnusson—we met a whole host of Icelandic strongmen, which includes Hafthor Thor Bjornsson, the 6'9 star of Game of Thrones.
